Shoe reapir- no you say you do shoe repair but you dont. The person in the shop was happy to take my boot to fix and come back in 1 hour and then tells me that it would not be fixed completely. what is the point - useless service that you provide, then you want to charge me for 1/2 job. laughable. Shoemaker in more than one way. Avoide this shop!

The guy scammed me. Told me a key cut would cost £20 but then charged me £25 on my card. When I challenged him he told me two different lies ("no, I said 25", and then "I was talking to somebody else" and finally when I kept pushing him he admitted and said "those keys are just expensive, you know" and refused refund." Complete mockery.

Unfortunately a very poor job on re heeling of my boots. I was charged £14.95 and the new heel was half stapled on so fell off immediately I wore them, causing me to slip over. Had the repair been done professionally and correctly the heel would have been plugged and glued first and then stapled. I got the job done around the corner at the Timpsons on Friar St by a great guy called Sam. Therefore I'd recommend avoiding this branch in Union Street, as this guy is clearly cutting corners and charging the earth and not doing a very good job!

I went here on a Sunday at 15:35 to ask if they did brass plate engravings. The guy simply said that i 'might want to come in when its not 20 to 4 on a Sunday'. Oh well.

I didn't catch his name, but the guy who was here Friday morning was an absolute GOAT. Brilliant quality, good service, and all round great guy. Timpson's has earned my future business for having such employees. 10 stars out of 5.

Had meny keys cut same shop smelly alley reading over the years also my grandad gets his boots and belts fixed watch batries never had a issue sadly my poor 83 blind grandad had a stroke sadly its took wat tiny bit of quality of life he had away but I'm determined not to let this affect him more then it has due 2 him now needed 4 carers a day we hat 2 get a key safe which ment getting another 2 keys cut 2 my supprise thay did not work so took bk were timpsons were so kind, friendly, and helpful he did something I took home tried again still no good so took bk again were the man was very good and told me don't worry we will fix this no matter wat he told me so the fourth visit he he made me second set of keys thank god thay worked and there use is wanted for such an important job thank u boys at timpsons very happy customer ð???ð??
