I only played the front 9 but the course has changed since the last time I played here (admittedly, a number of years ago). At the first tee, the course feels mich more open - there used to be more trees to the right which forced a straight or soft fade. Just felt so different. Looking forward to playing there again.

I play with a Theale Golf club member every 4 to 5 weeks.The course has been in very good condition during the last eight months.Well done to the whole team

Excellent course with plenty to offer and challenge even experienced golfers. Wonderful clubhouse that has a great selection of food and drinks.

I played the first 9 at Theale today, it was very good. Some lovely driving holes and ditches placed insurprising places which challenged me. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful.

We held my Father-in-laws wake at Theale golf club yesterday.The function room was perfect everyone commented on how nice it was. The food was very good and staff were very friendly and welcoming. If it were possible to give more stars I would.

Loved the course,clubhouse Course could do with bit more detailing,around bunkers,greens bit bumpy.But very enjoyable and would love to play it again.Some great holes.

I like Theale.The course has had a lot of work done on it and undoubtedly there are bits that still could be improved.I like the club house and the general friendly vibe you get when visiting.It also has a good driving range that is open to visitors.Lessons / Coaching etc available .

Have been playing this course on and off over the years and I must say recently it has fast become a great course. The drainage has improved and the course now plays great in the wet. The greens in the last 6 months have been amazing. It looks like there is lots more work taking place with upgraded tee boxes. White tee?s not for the faint hearted with narrow openings. I see great things to come from the course improvements. Very friendly staff!

The ideal venue for my wife's surprise birthday party,Theale Golf Club's adjoining rooms allowed our guests to dance and listen to the excellent music provided by Mythicals, in one room whilst those wishing to catch up were able to sit and chat in the adjacent bar whilst still listening to the music.Our guests, many of whom were themselves musicians from Watership Brass, commented on the quality and variety of music by Mythicals, a 6 piece locally based band. and all said that Theale golf club was the ideal party venue.A few weeks before the event, I met Heather, from Theale Golf Club, and Sarah, Mythicals singer, at the club to plan the evening, which ran like clockwork on the night.

A nice course a bit of everything on the course, dog legs, water.it is in good condition considering the weather we have had lately, the bunkers all had fresh sand in them as I found a few overall a good course will be going back ?

Course was average at best, tee box a shambles. The worst part of the experience however were the staff and how unwelcoming they are, even for simple requests like some tap water. Prices will also vary depending on who you speak to.For £35 you're much better off playing at Sonning for the same price, much better atmosphere and much better looked after course.The one positive takeaway from this trip to Theale "Golf Club" was finding a pencil in the golf cart as opposed to paying them 20p for one in the clubhouse.#bandits

Played a few times now and it's a nice course. Few doglegs, water and trees a plenty.There's a bit of work being done (dredging etc) but not enough to ruin your round.I'd say the bunkers need a bit of work as they have a few stones in. My mate was not happy about his wedge getting damaged.
