A lovely little traditional "locals" pub.
It's a little hidden away on a side-street, but it's always decently busy, despite this, which says a lot for the place.
Decent ales on draught, lagers and stouts too, at a fair reasonable price, wide variety of spirits, excellent and friendly service and a quiet but welcoming atmosphere.

Plesent little pub, some nice ales and a good felling about the place.Hidden away up a tiny terrace street, it stans out with an air of bravado amongst its 2 up 2 down neighbours.

Really lovely pub. My first time here but it looks like it's been recently redecorated, very tastefully too. Nice beer at a decent price. Well worth the short walk out of the town centre.
