Better of the two Weatherspoons in Reading . Certainly clientel wise. Large through room with rear with seating area overlooking the river.

Came in here on New Years Day as I was craving a fry up before driving home. It was the only breakfast bar/ café which was open and the place was completely full with other people with the same idea. I managed to get my order in just before the cut off for breakfast and was told it would be a 30-40 minute wait for food.... read full comment

Probably the better out of the two central Reading Wetherspoons, though the Hope Tap is much more convenient for the station. This branch feels more spacious and in a slightly nicer part of town.
We have re-introduced the Quiz on Wednesday nights starting at 8pm.
The pub is open for breakfast until 12 noon and offers free refills (all day every day) on tea and Lavazza coffee. For lunch and dinner, there are lighter bites, with deli deal options and vegetarian choices, gourmet burgers. Wetherspoon has championed a wide range of drinks, including real ales, craft beers, gins and soft drinks. Table service is available via the Wetherspoon app, using our unlimited free Wi-Fi. This pub has step-free access.
