The Sue Ryder shop in Tilehurst is everything a community charity shop should be?and more! From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with genuine warmth and kindness. The staff are truly outstanding?so welcoming, helpful, and always ready with a friendly smile or a kind word.
Whether you're browsing for a unique vintage find, looking to donate, or just popping in for a chat, the team make you feel right at home. Their passion for the cause and pride in the shop is clear in everything they do?from the beautifully organized displays to the impeccable cleanliness and thoughtful layout of the store.
What really sets this place apart, though, is the atmosphere. It?s not just a charity shop?it?s a little haven of kindness and community spirit. Every visit feels like catching up with friends, and you're always made to feel appreciated, no matter what you?re there for.

The staff are all very lovely. Lots of good donations to look through and a nice selection of new items too. I feel the pricing is very fair and more often than not feel they could be charging more for some of the items. One of my favourite pop in shops when I have some spare time in the triangle

Lovely charity shop with free parking out the back. Visit regularly to have a look around with my dog, almost always walk out with a new find (especially on their 50% off sales) & staff are always very friendly & helpful.
