Great little precinct. There's a supermarket, a hairdresser's, a record shop, a charity shop, a butcher, a vegetarian restaurant, a coffee shop, a card shop, a chemist, a nail bar and other shops besides. I like the uniformity in colour of the signage above the shops. There's plenty of seating. The precinct has a nice vibe to it. Some lovely trees as well. There's a good-sized car park nearby.

Ok, but in need of remodelling. There's lots of shops closed, somehow depressing places to shop but good coffee shop.

Liked this place before today. Never had an issue. Ordered my usual light snack hummus & flatbread. Last bit of flatbread had what looked like a large bite mark out of it. Mentioned to the waitress who passed me over to a lady I can only guess was the manager. I wasn?t after a free meal or anything like, just pointing out the large chunk missing which looked like a bite mark. As I had about a third left of the hummus thought she was going to offer a flatbread lol. Must cost about 20p for a whole one. She just kept banging on about there bread was fine when left the kitchen, I waited again for maybe a flatbread ?. I once again assured her I wasn?t after a free meal. I now wanted to pay and leave. I was getting pissed off by now and didn?t really want to go into F**k mode as I?m new to the area . As I was about to leave she started patronize me by asking how the meal was, couldn?t believe it ?. Guess I won?t be going back, shame as I enjoyed the few times I had visited before. The lady needs to go on some kind of customer training course ?

Great meal. Food was delicious, portions huge, nice drinks, good service. Had a sharing plate starter and regretted ordering mains! Butter bean something or other with sour dough bread - divine. I could only manage half my subsequent burrito and Mrs B was fit to bust half way through the big bowl thing. I ordered the sambal sauce on my jazzy broccoli. Nearly blew my head off - and I eat raw green chillies for fun. Waste not want not - into the takeaway boxes for tomorrow. These two old carnivores staggered out with big smiles on our faces. Even my pocket was smiling. What a great place. Lucky Reading.

We love Vegivores and we try to come as often as possible, despite the fact that it's not on our doorstep. The food is excellent, with such a selection of drinks to go with it, it's a treat everytime. We love trying new things and welcome the weekly specials. Thank you to the whole team of staff too. You always seem so happy in your work. And thank you especially for bringing back the mac n cheeze. ?

Went to Vegivores for Sunday brunch and everything was deeelicious, from the hot chocolate to tofu burgers and gnocchi. Everything that came out to other tables also looked amazing and I wish I could have fit more in! Service was warm, welcoming and prompt, even when things started to get busy. Would highly recommend to anyone, vegan or not :)

Oh my goodness, just had the afternoon tea here and it was amazing! So tasty, a real treat and because we all failed to eat everything we were able to take our brownies home! Thoroughly recommend this as a treat!

There?s always a worry about visiting a vegan restaurant if you are carnivores like us. And we did kind of order at random, so we weren?t expecting to like everything. We needn?t have worried - ALL the food was delicious and very varied and the staff were so friendly and welcoming- we?ll come again soon.

Unbelievable food, every time. I?m not vegan, yet Vegivores is my go to restaurant for brunch, lunch or dinner in Caversham. The Tofu burger with Satay sauce and chilli jam is unreal, as is the Mac n ?Cheese?

I cannot praise Vegivores enough! The food is absolutely incredible and the service is always the right balance of warm and friendly but not in your face. I?ve been to the restaurant at least 15+ times since it opened and I?ve never had a meal that wasn?t absolutely delicious whether that was breakfast, lunch or dinner. I?ve also ordered delivery a few times and the quality of food is to the same high standards. My highlight is always the satay peanut sauce, probably the best out there!
