I probably got a couple of hours attention from Spectsavers. A deviated sinus bone has caused some sinus leakage and when this spreads to my left eye, I get double vision. Specsavers helped to solve this problem, which would have been good value for money if I had paid, which I did not (one advantage of being a bit older, although I can't think of another).I subsequently bought four pairs of glasses, well two of them were free , so I would never raise my voice if I mislaid a pair. I use them all and like them all and so far have not misplaced any of them as I guard them ferociously.The FAQs were very helpful.Just one thing; the humour in thr shop was not up to the standard of the SPECSAVER ADS.

Hard selling extras for ridiculous amounts of money when not needed, had one really rude member of staff, put me off using specsavers in the future!

I have been using Specsavers in Woodley for some years. In the beginning we were in lockdown and quite frankly, the service was personally disappointing, at one stage with my new lenses (glasses) that were obviously the wrong prescription, I was told by an employee ?you?ll just have to get used to them!!?But I never gave up, as the Specsavers service is very reasonable. I have had awful eye sight for a while now and my contact lenses had been causing me medical issues - that was until I had an appointment with Neela! She is wonderful in her manner, knowledge and skills. I picked up my new prescription a couple of weeks ago and for the first time in years - I can see!!!!She is a credit to spec savers Woodley! Keep her, look after her as an employee please, she is fabulous! Thank you Neela, for your time and care, Lorraine Short.

Beware. The are pushy and make you buy more things than you need. This is a terrible branch. Be prepared to put your foot down and say no thank you and maybe even consider going to a different branch

The staff was incredibly efficient and organized, ensuring my appointment started promptly without any unnecessary waiting.The Optician was fantastic. He were thorough and meticulous during my exam, taking the time to answer all my questions and explain everything in clear, easy-to-understand terms. I never felt rushed or pressured, and I truly appreciated their compassionate and patient demeanour.The staff helped me pick out the glasses that complemented my style. They even offered helpful tips on lens options and coatings, ensuring I got the best value for my money.The selection of frames at Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Woodley is quite impressive. They have something for everyone. The quality of the frames is excellent, and they offer a variety of price points to suit all budgets.Overall, my experience at Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Woodley was outstanding. Went to Specsavers to get new glasses and sunglasses for big holiday coming up. Was helped to choose, given all information and treated with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. I am delighted with my new glasses.

I would give them zero stars if I could. Totally shambolic when booking appointments. I had specifically asked when I booked to have both my eye test and contact lens appointment on the same day, which was confirmed on the phone. However, when I got there I was informed by a customer service assistant (I use the term loosely as I can only describe their customer service as atrocious) that only the eye test was on the system. I was in there for 90 minutes just for an eye test. I was booked with the wrong optician. I wear varifocals but during the eye test he didn't test my near vision (reading). I realised as soon as I got home and called them. The lady who answered the phone said she would check and get back to me. Never heard back. After a week went for my contact lens trial and to get my glasses. Contact lens prescription that I had been given was totally wrong. I could go on and on. They never checked my reading vision for my varifocal lenses. They just told me to wear my glasses and see what I think! So, probably have to go back again or just give up and go to a completely different optician. Only saving grace in that branch is the fabulous Neela.
