Fantastic experience today, 24th December. Had an eye test as vision had changed in one eye, the process was smooth and I was kept well informed about my eyes. They picked up on a couple of problems that I have, it was explained clearly in a manner I understood. The staff were busy, but all were very friendly and very efficient. Thank you.

Shocking service at Specsavers Woodley today 4th Dec 2024.
No eyesight done because I can see ok with my glasses. I feel let down and I was not listened to at all. My age was constantly being brought up and told it's normal for eyesight to go due to age, plus other stuff that was dismissed.
Called to express how I felt I had been treated and was not impressed by the phone manner when I said I was not happy after my visit.
I've asked to be taken off the system won't be going back to them.

I thoroughly recommend visiting Specsavers in Woodley, with a special call out to Oliver Harris who explained everything about the tests before my appointment with the optician and the effient service from choosing my glasses with me to fitting them.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Specsavers Woodley that I feel compelled to share. My family and I arrived for our appointment just 7 minutes late, which I understand can be frustrating. However, the customer service I received was far below the standard I expected from a reputable company like Specsavers.
The assistant, who had a rather flamboyant mustache, seemed completely uninterested in helping us resolve our situation. Instead of showing understanding or attempting to accommodate us, he abruptly canceled one of our appointments without any effort to find a solution. This lack of empathy and professionalism was shocking, especially considering we had traveled 30 minutes to get there with two young children in tow.
I would give zero stars if that were an option. It?s disheartening to see such poor customer service at a place that should prioritize the needs of its clients. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers.

First time visiting Specsavers in Woodley. I didn't have to wait long until I was seen until someone was available to do the diagnostic tests before having my eye test. I was asked all questions on my eye health and wellbeing and tested thoroughly. The only thing I'm not sure is whether they did an OCT to my eye as it either wasn't mentioned or that I didn't take any notice as different tests were being done at the time whic I'm still trying to contact them to make sure this was done as i already paid for thw service. It was a good experience

We visited at THEIR arranged and agreed date and time.
We walked out after waiting just over 1 hour.
Promised never, to ever, come again.
What an inefficient time wasting bunch.
