So so happy with my experience here! All of the staff were so lovely and helpful. I came in for a colour correction after attempting to bleach my hair myself and the results were beyond what I expected! Frankie is AMAZING! I definitely recommend this salon and will be back. I found the pricing extremely reasonable, especially compared to other salons in Reading. ?

Upon arriving at the salon, I was settled into the chair without any indication of who would be handling my haircut. It wasn't until after I was already seated that I was informed that my haircut would be done by a lower-level hairdresser. At that point, I felt uncomfortable expressing any reservations, as I didn't want to make the girl feel awkward or inadequate.Initially, I merely asked for a tidy-up of my hair ends, a straightforward task that I assumed would be executed with ease. However, what transpired was far from what I had anticipated. Instead of a simple trim, my hair ended up with different layers throughout, completely deviating from my original request.While I understand the need for junior stylists to gain experience, the lack of communication and consideration for my preferences left me feeling frustrated with the entire experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this salon based on my experience.

I just had a full head highlights there and my experience was fabulous! From entry to the end, Emily has done a fantastic job as she did picked up what I was hoping to have! I was shocked at first impression maybe I wasn't used to it yet but she did it exactly what I wanted. She re-assured me if Im not happy I can come back within 2 weeks to tone down the color. She did it very finely upto small details of my hair and I?m really one happy mama! ?? bonus is the massage chair and its reasonably priced! Well recommended!?

Had such a lovely haircut from Lily. She was so thorough and attentive from the start. Thanks to her recommendation I now have a slightly different style which I love while also making my hair into exactly what I wanted! The experience was really relaxed and comfortable. So pleased with my hair and really happy with it. Thank you Lily and Shotz h&b!P.s best head massage ever!

Seeing the Google review I went this salon to get a good hair cut done. But looks like they are totally inexperienced and not at all confident in the job. Although they didn't make a major mess but no one will be able to figure out that I got a hair cut done, honestly before and after look was just the same. Anyone can get the same cutting done at home on their own. I won't visit again and would not recommend anyone at least for their haircut service.

I love to support small businesses, and having previously had a good experience with the colourist, I looked forward to returning. This is the only salon that I have been to to take a deposit for a booking, and the policy is they keep it if you cancel 48hrs or less before the appointment. I had to move the appointment to take my mum to the hospital but was told that despite wanting to change the appointment and all the repeat business thereafter, was told that I had to pay another £50 to make an appointment. The salon is tired and lacklustre but I was sad that the community salon had such a poor response to a situation like this. I would never go to a salon that needed a deposit again. Shame, as Olivia was great.

This is my second visit to Shotz. I?m super happy with their services. My first visit was for a haircut with Amy which was done brilliantly. This time I visited for half head highlights with Lily Rose which was performed amazingly well. As the first tonning colour didn?t go well with my complexion, with my request they retonned my hair colour once again without any complaints from their side. Great family owned business that holds high standards and works closely with the community.Initially, I went to Shotz to get a half head of highlights but was not satisfied with the results. I communicated with management about this and they sorted me out to get it amended asap. I am so happy with the results now and the way they handled my request.Very professional and personable business.
