Ayoob was the customer advisor who helped me, he was incredibly patient, friendly and kind.
I would definitely recommend coming to the o2 store in reading the staff is fantastic!

Terrible customer service. You have to make an appointment to see a member of staff and can only book on the day not in advance. Wait times exceed an hour - how are you supposed to fit that into a lunch hour if you can?t pre-book?

Popped into to get a new phone and sim last week. The staff were welcoming, friendly and sorted me out quickly, without fuss. Overall a very good experience here and would recommend to any first time phone purchasers.

Bad service at a bad price. Pretty much impossible to get any real support. My internet does not work most of the time. I was promised a callback multiple times and never received one. They're also bad at protecting your personal data. Even among all the bad companies out there, they are exceptional.

Staff are rude, and was told they don't sell phones outright and only on contact. Odd considering the prices are shown to buy the phones outright on pay as you go in store

O2 customer Popped in this morning after my O2 mobile died on Friday. McKayla switched my sims to my old phone in minutes and was brilliant as I?m a bit slow on mobile tech. Was up and running again in minutes. Can?t say how professional and helpful both staff members were today. Gold standard service. This is how customer care should operate across the board. O2 take note. Give these guys a raise or promotion!! ??

Popped into the O2 store in reading high street this morning, I ordered a new phone through the website and stupidly asked for an esim, but no qr code came with it! 10 mins and the ladies in the store had it all sorted.

I have had bad experiences with the renewal of my broadband account since September 2024. I made several phone calls to customer service and unable to get a satisfactory response.
I decided to go into the O2 / Virgin store in Reading and found a very helpful professional and customer focused person named Aayushi, .I hope I have spelt her name correctly.
My hearing is not good and she spoke with customer service and eventually we got an acceptable result.
You are very lucky to have someone like Aayushi working for you, she deserves acknowledgement for her excellent customer service.

There was a certain lady employee that I've encountered twice now. Not only did she show disdain to me - but to other customers. She was unwelcoming and felt like it was an inconvenience to be there.
She continuously makes snarky comments to customers such as "your phone is slow".
O2, make sure you hire people that actually enjoy providing customer service. Becareful who you choose to represent your company.
As a long time customer (2 phones + broadband), this does make me want to turn away from O2.

This shop is a big joke. I have been a customer for almost three years and everything has always gone well until this day. I came to buy a phone today 12/12/2024 in the evening, Two ladies were chatting and laughing together while ignoring me. (A rude pakistani girl who turned her head away when she saw that I needed help and another as incompetent as the other who finally came to talk to me after her colleague ( third person in the shop who was working ) told her to come and talk to me) Waste of time, arrogance and contempt, this is how certain members of staff behave in this shop, shame on this company for hiring such disrespectful people. This kind of person has no place in customer service.

Like everyone hear, I had worst customer service experience by a lady called Aliya M, she was so rude, arrogant and have no basic knowledge of using laptop, she locked my account by entering my details wrong n asked me to come back after 3hours. SERIOUSLY?? Im a o2 customer from 15 years now but moving to vodafone after this weird experience. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and falls far below the level of service I expected from O2.
