I would like to share my positive experience while opening a community bank account with the assistance of Shusan Gurung. The whole process went very smoothly thanks to his support.

I opened an account as they opened on Sundays and that was unique about them. Otherwise I had about 5 other bank accounts. Now they don't open on Sundays and the queues always going out the door. Plus I can't even deposit £1000 without being asked where the money has come from and they don't have paying in machines.

Don?t waste your time if you have BRP e-Visa. They don?t accept driving licence as a proof of Identity. Even though they can see your E-visa on UKVi but refuse to accept. You should have to have passport then they accept Driving Licence. But not UKVi E-visa.

Struggled to open a business bank account online for a couple of weeks. Came into the Reading branch and was dealt with quickly. Big thanks to Daniel who was super helpful and sorted out everything for me without delay. Great service.

I have visited to metro bank reading branch couple of times to open an account but I couldn?t because each time they said some excuses. I went last week they ask me to book an appointment then only you can open an account so I came back . I called them today to book an appointment they said no need to book an appointments visit to your nearest branches before 4 pm then you can open so as I said I went reading branch before 12 today then they said no you can?t open an account now you have to come in between 9 to 10 am. I?m really disappointed ?? I read a review Exactly Like my situation happened to other person.
Please don?t play with our time . Try to give a good service.

Completely useless. Said that my address written on two documents was too different from each other because one document had the number 1 and another said Flat One and then expected me to contact their provider to resolve an issue for them. Shambles, I'd be embarrassed to say I work there.

Imagine opening a bank saying you're open 7 days a week plus late nights, to only stop opening late nights and closed on Sundays.

The worst financial service provider I have ever been. I am an expat and lived in many developed and underdeveloped countries all across EU and Americas and never had a such horrible experience in any of them.This "bank" rejected my debit/savings account application (I want to deposit the money) with no reason. Thankfully I myself am a experience financier and economist and even used to work for a bank before. So I know how the usual process is going, credibility checks etc. Whenever I asked for the process information, I could see they assume I have no knowledge about bank/economics and just bring up hilarious comments. Even if we ignore the fact they rejected, the way they handled it, lying to our faces (me and my partner), and wasting our times. They made us visit the bank 3-4 times and requested unrelated documents and asked us to call other third party data providers (not the government or any reliable source) which made no sense, but I did what they wanted, in every detail.. We have all the documents, all the legal parameters, all the long term employment, savings and most importantly legal basis for everything. Anyway, if you want a racist, completely unprofessional "bank", try this one, you will not regret it. Because once they see a person from a country they do not know, it is a rejection and the way of handling this is absolutely hilarious, because at the end of the day this process itself (rejecting application due to nationality) is ILLEGAL to begin with and not in accordance with any policy.
