The female staff member that was in self checkout today at 4pm with the reddish dark hair is actually so so horrid and rude, like I get it?s busy and the job can be annoying but there?s no need to tell a customer to ?get out the way? in a dismissive tone and practically bark at me to put something on the scale, the staff need to sort their attitude out because it?s actually unacceptable - I don't appreciate being treated like something they found on their shoe every time I go in here, and looking at recent reviews it?s not just me

90 mins parking restriction is very limited for a store this big.
Lately after getting a parking ticket I had to switch my store preference to Aldi and Morrisons.

I dropped by for some last minute shopping and as it appears, I was the last person in the store and to have the lights turned off and back on again whilst at the tills was rude and not good customer service.... this is not how to treat a customer and I will definitely not be going back to this branch.

I?ve been a regular Lidl customer for number of years, but today I had a very upsetting experience dealing with short lady with glasses (I believe she was supervisor on 25 Jan 2025 morning) and tall big guy who scanned two items 4 times, both started with very bad tune and disrespectful manners which created the situation as no one can tolerate that.
I am kind professional person and don't like to raise my voice but this incident and disrespectful manners have made me really upset today.
The issue was that 2 items were scanned 4 times and multiple items were charged incorrectly which is not a big thing so I asked them kindly to sort it out but the same guy who served me sent me to this short rude lady wearing glasses who dealt with me in very offensive tune and when I responded she refused to serve me then that tall big guy came so close to me talked me in the same way as that short lady talked to me but then realised his tune so changed it back to normal, refused to serve, refund and disrespectfully said to me go and ask customer services to sort it out as we will not serve, refund and sort out wrong pricing with your shopping.
Then short lady came back with the body cam and both people suddenly started acting in a nice tune due to body cam I think but still refused to serve me and disrespectfully told me to leave the store now!!!.
That short lady needs to learn how to start conversation nicely with the customer so that such incidents don't happen again with anyone and never disrespcfully tell customer to leave the store when they are not causing any harm or trouble.
I have never been treated like that in my whole life. I left all the items with wrong pricing on the till in good manners (as shown in the photo) without refund as respect is everything not the money, hoping customer service can refund. I am a professional person and never raise my voice but no one can tolerate disrespectful behaviour. I am still feeling upset about this disrespectful behaviour and bad tune.
Lidl need to train their staff how to have nice conversations with the customers and teach them good customer service skills and right tune.
They don't need to act nicely just when wearing body cam and be hypocrite, they need to be real human and talk in a kindly manners all the time.
I hope this feedback helps improve things at this store. Due to this experience, I?m hesitant to return to this store now where I have always shopped regularly.

We have used this Lidl ever since it opened, although not as much as we ise to as we don't like the lack of manned and cash tills available. Today Monday 30 December I called in and joined the queue to pay for my purchases. On arrival at the till number 2 about about 13:10 I noticed the young lady from my previous visit and thought nothing too much about it thinking the previous time she may have been a bit stressed over the busy pre Christmas period-though that should be no excuse. I was wrong, as it is clear that she is so abrupt and lacking any kind of basic one to one human pleasantries. I mean, I don't expect anyone to kiss my behind but this certain individual is seriously lacking any kind of welcoming personality and makes the whole process of being there is like you have done something wrong just by being there. I have never been served by anyone who gives off such an awful vibe. Next time, if there is a next time I swear I will not allow myself to served- if that's what you can call it- by this person again, I'd rather join a longe queue or just leave my trolley and go elsewhere, it's not like there aren't plenty of other options locally.
I must point out that the one star is purely and simply accountable for this lady and this lady only, it is not a reflection on Lidl or it's other staff members who have been absolutely wonderful all these years.

I have been shopping at this Lidl for nearly 4 years, but my recent experience was disappointing. Shift manager Michelle was on the checkout till, and her attitude was unprofessional and unfriendly. There were no greetings, no ?hello? or ?thank you,? and certainly no smile. As a manager, she should lead by example and demonstrate good customer service, but unfortunately, that was not the case.
She scanned items at an unreasonable pace, piling them up without giving us time to load them into our trolley. It felt rushed and inconsiderate.
I also noticed that staff on the tills frequently use their headsets to chat with each other, which comes across as rude and distracting. It gives the impression that they are ignoring customers in favor of internal conversations.
This experience was frustrating, and I hope Lidl management takes note to improve customer service standards at this store.

Nice local Lidl wide aisles to move around with plenty of space for customers and their trollies. Prices are good and the staff helpful. Easy self checkout too.
