Need a little more signage to get in and out. Not being locals, we came in through one side entrance and couldn't work out how to get to the front. A bit confusing. Luckily JL customers are great and two people overheard us and helped us out.

I received an apple macbook, (and opened the box). It's not powerful enough to run what i needed, this was realised in 10min. I packaged it up, booked a return, and took it to my local Waitrose who accepted the return.
I was contacted by JL who had refused the return because i'd 'opened the box.
NEVER BUY APPLE from John Lewis! it's the worst experience you can imagine from people you probably trust.
In addition, as of writing this they haven't told me they've sent it back, despite promising to despatch it yesterday.... BEWARE

They don't cleat the tables in the restaurant very well. Needs attention. Several visits and it's the same every time. Had to do it myself.

I had a wonderful facial with Jay at La Mer. She took so much care in understanding my skin and customised the treatment perfectly to my needs. The whole experience felt truly personal and relaxing. Jay is amazing at what she does, and I always look forward to seeing her next! Highly recommend her :)

Disappointing Decline in Customer Service at John Lewis
John Lewis used to be known for having some of the best customer service on the high street ? sadly, that is no longer the case. It?s now nearly impossible to speak directly to a store, and the response to faulty goods is shockingly poor. What was once a trusted brand has become frustrating and unhelpful. I would no longer recommend John Lewis to anyone, which is such a shame.

I had an amazing facial from Jay yesterday from the La Mer team in their spa private treatment area downstairs. Jay has an wonderful manner and magic hands. She is so knowledgable and I can?t wait to go back. She also connected me with Katie on the Jo Malone counter who gave me a lovely hand and arm massage and helped me select some gifts for some clients. I was very impressed with them both. So friendly, I was very impressed with the service I received.

I would just like to put my appreciation out there for the wonderful lady, Owa, behind the Estée Lauder counter today.
Not only has she got a great knowledge of Estée Lauder products but she is very friendly, charming and of course, absolutely stunning.
It was such a pleasure meeting you & you'll probably see me again soon to repurchase my favourites!

John Lewis is the level of customer service that all businesses should be aiming for. THey are a delight to deal with. Competent, informed, helpful, clearly spoken, just a five star service. Why you would go anywhere else to buy something on line if they stock it is a mystery to me. I have been a customer for many years and will continue to be so. In a world of poor service and staff that cant be bothered to help, this is an example of how to do things properly.
