Absolutely appalling customer service. The sales assistant don't care if you have been served or not. We were paying customers looking to try on a shoe size for myself. After a 30 minutes of wait, we were told the size isn't available. I mean how stupid can that be for a brand to not be able to check if a certain size in a particular shoe is available or not! How can you have this kind of a rude customer service for a brand like this! This is hugely dissatisfying and I am definitely never stepping foot in this place! The Reading one is just the worst.

Came in for a last minute pair of running shoes for a big race as mine had previously fallen apart last week. I was struggling to make a decision, but one of their staff members was able to provide amazing insight, even advising me on Crep Protect to prevent damage in the future, as well as keeping them smelling fresh after my runs. I didn't catch his name but he was a young tall blonde man, and I would highly recommend him to anyone coming to JD.

Hey all, I just wanted to come here and share my spectacular experience at JD today. While I was waiting in the queue waiting to get served, I saw this man arguing with one of the employees about a refund, and It's true what they say that pressure really does make diamonds, because the employee ( who sounded Mexican but looked Indian) was so calm and composed and never got angry, he also greeted me and my husband with such a lovely smile and attitude. I just want to say what an amazing job he did, and as someone who also works in this industry, I have to say that he truly is a gem!

So far any shop assistant I?ve interacted with in this shop has no idea about running shoes and when you ask them to help or bring another size they look annoyed like they absolutely hate working there. Really frustrating experience.

Poor choice of shoes and brands. Music so loud you can?t hear yourself think. The staff allow people with kids to have them running around the shop, taking basketballs and footballs and throwing them around hitting customers. 6 tills - only 2 open yet various staff on the shop floor doing nothing. Awful shop - buy online instead.

Around 11 o?clock 8th of April, I experienced extremely rude and aggressive customer service from a young man wearing a hair net. I was seeking help, but he approached me in a very disrespectful and hostile manner. I reported the incident to one of the newer staff members, as I believe this kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable?especially from someone who is supposed to be helping customers.

??Replied for a job with Dave the Sport manager, so I WhatsApp him as we know eachother and worked together too.
He's reply back was your Attendance isn't great so I can't give you a job. I have a Lifeteam illness that Daves knows, specially when Ambulances came out for me or had to go home. Well I'm shocked and upset.
I'm am cover by disability equality act 2010.
So I guess this is a warning ?? to other peolpe.

Good quality clothes but some sections are messy with the wrong size tags on the items of clothing. Sale was very misleading as only done sizes were on sale which lead to confusion for a few people. Customer service was very good however

Found out my local store that they had a pair of trainers in stock in the size I wanted. Called up and told them the product code. They said they've sent a request to the warehouse and to call back. Called back the next day and was told they were put behind the counter. Went to collect and they were the wrong pair. The ones I had were not stocked by JD any more and had to get another pair that was in stock at my local store and not on offer. 4 members of staff I spoke to just were too busy to care. I won't be dealing with JD, the customer service just isn't worth it.

Terrible experience with click and collect order from this store. Did a same day collection and had confirmation for the order to be collected the same day, only for the store to tell me it was not in stock. Awful experience with customer service. Never shopping here again.
