Self checkout makes it easy to order. The sushi was tasty and seemed fresh, though no pickled ginger. The miso soup was a little bland, was too much bland soup, and only a few tofu cubes. The 2nd floor gives a nice view, but the thing i disliked the most is the tables that felt sticky. I'm not sure if it is from a lack of cleaning or from the worn down lacquer, or both leading to spills soaking in the wood, but at least they provide small trays. The tables are nice and big, 8 person tables if i remember correctly and it was not busy at all on the 29th December 3pm

It really sucks that you pay full price to eat in but all of the hot meals come in cardboard containers... If you go to the other itsu in reading you are served in proper ramen bowls. Really disappointed with this, ruined my enjoyment of the meal. £13.50 for noodles with onsen egg, and miso soup

I recently had the pleasure of dining at itsu and the experience was made exceptional thanks to Ellie! From the moment we walked in, her warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home. Ellie was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. She made excellent recommendations, and her passion for Japanese cuisine truly shone through. Thank you, Ellie, for your outstanding service! We will definitely be returning.

I visited Itsu in Queen Victoria St, Reading, today, and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything I tried was spot on.
What made the visit even better were the two lovely ladies working there. They were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. Their helpfulness and warm welcome really added a personal touch to my meal.
If you're in the Reading area, I highly recommend stopping by Itsu. The food is fantastic, and the service is even better!

Good place but worst service offered today by young girl with glasses. I do not know how do you accept this kind of employees to such a good place. She makes a fake smile and when you ask questions she replies very arrogantly with indignant expression but she should not behave like this even if she owns this place. Please imorove your service at least explain her how to work with customers

Had excellent customer service from staff member i think was Chloe purple haiir & glasses to match. Love that she was chatty & smiley who obviously enjoys her job. Keep up the good work. I don't have to say anything about sushi because they're fresh and delicious all the time!??

Good for a quick stop or pick up of Japanese style prepackaged meals. The meals are a bit pricey, but quite tasty for the regular or occasional treat.
