“Sam, the young Scottish guy is a credit to this hotel. Honestly he is an absolute credit. I'm not 100 percent of the girls name but she had blonde hair and glasses and was also very very helpful and friendly..But Sam is your man,,, absolute credit and should be recognised as such.”

“The hotel is nice. Clean rooms, nice people at the front desk. I can remember Adel and Sophia. They have been really helpful and kind. I also would like to thank Juliana and Ronan at the Atrium Bar. They have been proffesional and kind all the 7 nights that I stayed at the hotel. I would love to see them again when I come back to the hotel. The hotel is in a quite area, walking distance to shopping stores. I will revisit again.”

“The rooms were good and spacious. Also it was quite quiet in my room, which is great. The bathroom was also well maintained and clean. Breakfast was okay, could have been a bit more extensive, though. The place really is a maze, I could not find my room number on the signings, so I got lost. A roomkeeper helped me out.”

Great staff, Marisa and Alexandra were especially great they were very helpful and made us feel welcome, and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests.”

“A nice hotel with great sized rooms. Breakfast and the staff were superb but my room (117) had a bad damp smell hence the dropping of stars from 5 to 3Rooms: A good size”

“It's exactly what it's supposed to be. Good value, local short-stay Hotel. Our room and bathroom we're spotless, but it felt a little 'tired'. The carpet was clean but badly faded and really needs replacing.”

“Best Chicken and Chips I've ever tasted in my life. Such a simple meal, but when cooked right, OMG. I've stayed at hundreds of hotels over the years because of work, but The Elephant stood out. Lovely rooms. Great breakfast, good prices, a Hidden gem. The 2nd. The Wykeham Arms In Winchester. Pub, come hotels in England are the best places you will ever stay at. “Have stayed at the Reading Premier Inn many times but never review but felt I should this time . Great welcome from Aneta on the front desk who made sure I was checked in and ensured I had everything I needed for my stay. She was there again on checkout and asking if I had a good stay - would recommend the hotel but Aneta needs a special mention - thanks will be back soon !”

“I stay at a lot of premier inns so I don’t keep leaving reviews unless I feel the need to. This is actually a very special premier inn though. And if you have to make a slightly longer journey to get to stay at this one I would. It’s very clean and very quiet and the staff are all lovely. But what makes it really special is the pub next door that you eat at. The breakfast is bar far the best I’ve had at a premier inn. Really well cooked with nice quality food.”

“Excellent service! My manager had booked us a room for a week ahead of schedule but the beautiful woman on the hotel reception was quick to cancel the room and book us a room for the correct night instead ! Fresh towel where given when asked and I had even got directions to the local shop I needed to visit as I didn't know the area ! Perfect customer service”

“We booked bed, breakfast and evening meal some weeks ago. The pub has now changed its name to The Narrowboat. The staff were excellent; they were very welcoming and eger to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Our room was clean and well stocked with teas & coffees. The bed was roomy and comfortable. The food was excellent and plentiful and catered for all tastes. The pub has recently been refurbished to a high standard. Overall a lovely experience. Well done!”

“Newly renovated rooms which were very spacious, modern and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed for 4 nights and was fantastic location, with a puregym, morrisons and aldi just down the road!”

“The hotel was very clean throughout, the service was good and the team were definitely 5 star, the only reason I gave it 4 stars was the poor quality floor in my room and the fact that at peak times there was literally no hot water as demand had exceeded supply - have a look at the photos. These were minor things though. I would definitely stay again, the breakfast was well prepared and plentiful and it was the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in. Overall, very nice, many thanks!!”

“Have to say for the price paid this is well worth it, surprisingly the room was a lot bigger than I thought, very comfortable big bed, the receptionist was lovely helpful and very accommodating. Only down side is there is no restaurant on premises, but have places at the services and there are no lifts at the place. There are no curtain nets so privacy can be an issue if you leave the curtaibs open. Overall a lovely stay worth the price and being slightly out the way. Do not forget to validate your parking.”

“Clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. The room had a desk, TV and tea / coffee. The rate also included a cooked breakfast. It is within 3 minutes walk of a co-op and pub. Loads of off road parking - large parking area out the back.”

“The staff on the front deck are all ways happy to help you and feindly the lift was not working but because I was there for 3 week they put me on 1 foor to look after me lol ? bit disappointed they don't have food at this ”
