Stayed here for three nights.The reception welcome was excellent. Room also spotless.All staff have been very friendly.However I've had two evening meals, and drinks at the bar, and overall a poor experience.Service is incredibly slow and inattentive. Nobody around to speak to. Once your meal is served, nobody will return to check on you, and if you want to order extras, forget it, you only get one chance.None of the waiters communicate with each other so nobody knows who's ordered.I just waited forty minutes because they forgot my order, and refused to acknowledge the mistake. And a further ten minutes for my drink order.Tables left full of used and unused glasses and cutlery.They're not busy, only about 25% full, just not well trained, and inattentive.Food and drink prices also very high, and no discount offered for poor service. Fishcakes and one beer, £30.Large glass of wine about £10.Food was very nice actually but the experience overall left a bad taste.

I was warmly welcomed especially by Prachi at the reception, the room was cozy, the meal great and would recommend the Holiday Inn the any one on the move and would like a nice place to feel welcomed and to relax.

Great place, hotel is clean and rooms are nice. Staff very friendly and willing to help if needed. Not far from the hotel are plenty of shops/ places to eat.Breakfast was amazing food was cooked perfectly! and plenty to choose from.Rooms: Rooms are nice, comfy bed, nice and clean also!Walkability: plenty to do in the area not far from the hotel is a shopping area.Food & drinks: Breakfast is great very nice food and re stocked as it runs low! hood choice of hot breakfast and cerals..Noteworthy details: Parking is free but you must put your reg in the machine next to reception.

What a fantastic stay we had, we booked through Legoland and was a very reasonable price. We received a very warm welcome and the children got a goodie bag and a voucher for a free hot chocolate. Room was spotless and food in restaurant was delicious. Staff were amazing the customer service was brilliant. At breakfast we received even more great service from Aadalya he noticed that I was waiting with one of my children for my husband to get back with his breakfast and asked if I needed a babysitter whilst I grab my own food. The customer service we received from him was impeccable. We will absolutely be staying at this hotel again when we visit Legoland. The only issue I had was that I do not believe there was a lift so we had to carry the pushchair up a flight of stairs. I shall request ground floor on our next visit ?Food & drinks: When burger and chips arrived I thought the portion size was a bit small for the price, but when having a bite of the burger it exceeded expectations!! And was well worth the money!Kids eat free too, this saved us money ?

I have spent 2 nights at this hotel, this was my first visit. I would certainly return as it is well located just outside Reading town centre.I have to mention one member of staff that was there the 2 mornings I had breakfast. AADITYA. He went out of his way to help, my first breakfast they did not appear to have the tea that I required. I asked his colleague, she said there was non and walked away. AADITYA spoke with her and came back to ask me what I was asking, I explained he bought 2 other teas he thought i may like, he went to the bar to ask if they had the tea I wanted and returned with the tea I wanted. He remembered the next morning, and gave me the tea before I asked.That is the kind of service we should all receive and is a credit to the catering waiting team. Holiday Inn should be very proud of the service he provided.AADITYA thank you.There is free parking with quite a large parking area and A LOT for people with disabilities. However if you have walking issues or need to use a pushchair you need to make sure you let them know, as there are no lifts here, and at least 16 steps up to the next level. Breakfast is standard, English, nothing specialRooms: Clean and spacious.Food & drinks: Restaurant has a good selection, and they offer room service.Noteworthy details: Waiting staff are friendly and efficient. AADITYA is exceptional in my view.

Only one bad thing to say is that they need to put more tea, coffee and milk in rooms x as we love our hot drinks ??

From the outside it doesn't look much but as I went in I was transformed into somewhere else. Very misleading from the outside. Inside is very nice, luxurious and warm. I was very impressed even though I didn't stay in the building very long.The staff were very friendly, helpful, cheerful and polite.Quite impressed if I do say so myself.

My sixth stay in as many weeks, and have not one bad word to say. Was here on training and the service from all staff was brilliant. Reception staff were friendly and attentive to any question that i had first class from prachi and Sofia. Room was extremely adequate and the walk in shower was fantastic first thing in the morning. Location is perfect only 1/2 minutes from the motorway. Would recommend and wouldn?t hesitate to book and stay again.

I had a great stay.The room was very clean and the bed and quilt were extremely comfortable. Its easy to go to town centre as well! Prachi and Katie were the receptionist and they were very helpful as i had so many requests.Probably the best holiday inn we have stayed in.
