Great food, bad service. 90% of the place full of empty chairs and tables and the employees do not let the customers to sit. Apparently then they need to clean them.

Absolutely awful paid with 5 pound note for 2 sausage rolls and got change all in 5p!It is absolutely ridiculous the lady that served us was being all sarcastic and we had to pay a extra 50p to eat in the shop. Worst of all the lady infront of us paid with a 10 pound note got change in 50p and pounds. Absolutely terrible should have change and the lady that served us should be fired

Shocking service, queues 24/7, never enough breakfast items readily available at breakfast, same applies to lunchtime. Customers always walking out, get it together Greggs, yr losing customers & goodwill.

Nothing to write home about! Minimal seating, untidy looking staff, but plenty of reasonable prices for cakes, donuts and other desserts. They offer a grab and snack deal for lunch, which is good value, but it would help if they stocked up more. The lady serving had hardly any teeth in her mouth and was not presented very neatly, which can be a major put off Ina. Food establishment. I?ve visited better branches, whereby the staff make an effort to say hello, please and thank you.
Vegetarian options: Not a lot of vegan options
Parking: Broad street mall parking or roadside paid parking isn?t Ringo

The sausage rolls were fine . If you eat in or take out there is no difference. I wish there was because then I would eat in.

This store is well laid out with a big floor space. It has minimal indoor seating (5 tables) . there is an island stand before the counter that sells pre packed pastries and buns. this island provides a perfect in - out queuing system.The food is tasty , and all staff are polite and helpful.

There are 3 Greggs in Reading, the other 2 the staff are friendly. This branch is absolutely opposite, young guy says by law he has to put lid on coffee...not true, major attitude problem, not happy in his work. Another older female staff member equally miserable. Consistently rude to the customers. Will go to the other 2 Greggs in the future! Hopefully manager deals with these desperately unhappy people!
