Good selection of food including pastries and light meals. Plenty of seating with access to plug sockets (certain parts of the cafe) and decent wifi. Strategically located inside Tesco, adequate heating as well. Very friendly and helpful staff. One of my favourite spots to work and chill.Do note that if you are eating in, food prices may be slightly higher.

Very quick and welcoming service. Friendly staff and expertly made coffee. Both cakes and pastries were delicious and fresh will definitely be coming regularly from now on!

Shocked that not 1 member of staff on this morning's shift (9/8/2023) helped a Woman who fell just outside the restaurant. Regardless of whether the fall took place in the restaurant or not, the windows and doors were knocked for assistance and the members of staff ignored the calls for help. The Woman was on the floor for some time. In shock, alone and stared at. The fire exit is also disability access or in case of an emergency so we know it can be opened! The neglect should be investigated via CCTV! The staff should be spoken to and action taken. We just wanted a cup of water. Cancelling my Costa Loyalty membership as Costa, Portman Road Reading clearly cancelled their duty of care!!!!! Disgusting.

Lovely place, very convenient, disabled accessible, welcoming, very nice helpful staff, thank you ?
Wheelchair accessibility: It's good, but the button for opening door etc it's not possible to reach, so need wait when someone notice you or ask for help outside, bit difficult
