My favourite place to eat in Reading and amazing mock and cocktails ? the presentation is always on point! Customer service and professionalism!.. I highly recommend! Thank you for also bringing so much rich culture too - my other favourite thing about Coconut bar & kitchen! inclusion and diversity ?? I always have a wonderful time when I?m here! 25-7-25 Summer visits for lunch deals - as always a friendly hello with eye contact and front house engagement doesn't go unnoticed in RG1.... Food is on point as always & some good deals here - beers on draught now are Kirin, Heineken & Moretti and staff ever so polite and helpful actually look happy to work there - somethings right, as its been popular for a long long while and staff are stable, especially Safalta who was serving and doing a lot if work kept cleaning non stop when passing tables or bar or anything TBH She is very keen and happy to talk and help - loving the staff attitude here go figure.... check it out
27-3-22 2 years later I'm a regular and impressed..as gave another go, then another and another...
Can't fault it now.
It's always busy as it's good and I often have a drink waiting for a table if not booked.
Overall as bar social gathering fun place it's ok, it's popular so that says something. As an eatery not so sure. Hygiene in toilets was an issue as were dirty glasses this Friday gone. Prawn Crackers shouldn't cost £3 50 either.

Place with great atmosphere but the food was mediocre and I had stomach cramps and diarrhoea from 1am after eating the chicken gyoza and the prawn nasi goreng. My colleague had a chicken don - lots of sauce and not much chicken.

Been coming for years, always incredible service and amazing food and cocktails! The whole team make you feel special on every visit! The Szechuan Duck is amazing and white chocolate martinis are very drinkable and moreish!
