Very unpleasant encounter this Friday at the Pharmacy. I went to collect the prescription on fifth day of my initial request but it wasn?t ready and was told to come back later in the day. This happened so many times before and I politely asked why it wasn?t ready. I was abruptly told by Cameron that I should allow six days at least in future and if I wasn?t happy with the service I should change to a different Pharmacy!
I was a bit taken aback as I have never encountered such rude response from any Boots outlet in my fifty years as a customer! Well, lack of manners, training, dealing with customers - all need to be looked at. A very sorry state indeed.?

Awful service, always late to open the store. Even though there are 3 people working in the store only one is servicing the customers, that creates constant queue.

Worst pharmacy ever!
Never have meds nor do they keep prescriptions ready! So disorganised and have empathy towards customers! I always had to come back multiple times just to get collect a prescription!

Awful pharmacy. Picking up a prescription today and they only had one box of three of my medication despite it being in for a week. Clearly they hadn't dispensed my prescription and give away the medication. They were also searching for another customers prescription they'd lost. Chaotic this time, had previous bad experiences being asked if I really needed my medication after them having the prescription for days. Would change pharmacy if it meant not going into Reading

Appalling inability to answer the phone. The staff here don?t seem to have any regard for customer service. Prescription ordered days ago, still not prepared for collection.

I live in the area and try to avoid going to that pharmacy to not have a bad time. They don?t know or care about customer service and the people that work there sometimes can be a bit rude and moody.

Ordered with boots online doctor.it had been ordered 10 days prior. I had no text message so I popped in and had to wait 25 mins for 2 injections. Thinking of changing to another pharmacy this one is too short staffed. Terrible

Went in today to collect my prescription and was standing behind a customer who was told to go to another pharmacy beacous they couldn't get it handed in my prescription and was told they couldn't get and try another pharmacy surly there must be a way to check if another pharmacy has the said prescription or do we all have to keep trying other pharmacy no customer care what so ever

I?m awaiting on the downfall of Boots as a pharmacy. What are these hours of 9-6 and closed on a Sunday? When am I to collect my prescription when I?m in full time employment?
Additionally, when asking if they have my prescription in stock, they told me: they?ll find out tomorrow. Sorry, I asked if you have it in stock today, as I am there today (Wednesday lunch). How are they so dismissive and unhelpful

Absolutely rubbish chemist.They never have items in stock. Always have to go back at a later date.Always excuses as to why they haven't yet unpacked their deliveries.There were several members of staff on duty recently, and the wait for medication was still agonisingly long.They also never appear to answer their phone. Mind you, talking with them in person isn't much better. Just rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful people working there.***UPDATE***It's even worse in there now, which I didn't think could be possible.I had to go in there this evening to pick up a prescription for someone, and the first person I saw turned their head away and ignored me.The person who did acknowledge me served me without smiling, making eye contact, or lifting their head at all.Seriously, if you have no people skills, go and work in a lighthouse or somewhere similar.It's terrible in there.

Most useless boots ever. There are a couple of people who are very helpful but other than them, all of them are useless. There is one lady is very grumpy faced always and probably she is the one who manages this store. They are not ready to help you at all.
I had bought an item in a different boots and I was told that I can return it any other boots as well, but here they told me that they do not sell this product in this store and cannot take the return and asked me to go to the original store. Also the grumpy faced lady told me that this store is a very small store and they do not have any multi vitamin tablets for kids!!! How ridiculous this can be. I get all the products in another small boots in Reading station.
People in Caversham need a different Boots store
