Went in for a new pair of wellies and the service was prompt and effective.
I imagined it was a new shop after recent media publicity, but it?s simply a rebranded Blacks with a new sign and a discount card scheme. It?s the same range of goods and merchandise and the same layout.

Product was on sale. And when I opened, it was ripped... makes sense why it was on sale now.
I'll try to refund if not will file a complaint. Frustrating since I went camping and ultimately found a rip - now I didn't use it but not sure how refund works

came today to pick up my parcel, and I've always brought my I.D. with me, but none of the staff ever ask for it. I've worked in Management, HR, etc., and today the service was terrible. I was basically shrugged off for not having my I.D. (for the first time). I finished work early to get this parcel and was determined to get it. I had to run all the way home with a possible stress fracture in my leg and then run all the way back to the store to get my parcel.
When I got back, the manager who had shooed me away was hiding in the back or something and wasn't very skilled with people. To give you some more insight, when I first came to get my parcel at 17:07, one of the team members was called to serve me. She was nice, and I could tell from the way she spoke that she?s just naturally a shy person, but she tried to serve me. However, there were some opportunities to engage better when she saw I didn?t have my I.D.
The supervisor/manager on duty tried to save the day by being the heroic manager and put me in my place, which she failed to do because she just annoyed me more with her arrogance. She shook her head at me and pulled unnecessary faces. Throughout all of this, there were no basics of customer service. The first thing you do is say, "I?m sorry." Whether wrong or right, there should be an apology.
What the manager should have said was, "I am really sorry, but unfortunately we cannot provide you with this parcel without any form of I.D. This is also mentioned in the UPS terms and conditions. If we fail to do this, we could be in serious trouble. We shut at 6 pm, and if you wish, you could come back, and I will be willing to help." This is not very hard. It?s not all my fault that I came without I.D. today; your staff led me to think an I.D. was not needed. Please improve customer connections so that you can fulfil overall customer satisfaction. Today, I was not happy, and I think if this is the way customers are being treated, they will look elsewhere.
Also looking at the data in reviews, big opportunity on customer focus.
