It?s a SUPER supermarket?

Called in today(14/12/2024). Picked up a Dolce coffee pod machine and two boxes of pods and joined a queue at the till. I'm stood there for a few minutes when suddenly the people in front of me has got my attention for the lady servi g on the till to tell me that she is closing the till after she has served them and so can I go and join a different queue- which were all even longer than the one I was in. I wouldn't have minded if the till closed sign was put up already when I got there, but it wasn't. So I decided to just dump the goods I was going to purchase and walk out and go give my hard earned cash elsewhere. I realise the till has to close sometime but I was already in the queue before the decision was made and this was just before 16:00 O'clock so was in a peak period. Honestly, I don't mind taking my business elsewhere.

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Sean in the Fresh Department, and I can't praise him enough. He was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure I found everything I needed. His friendly and proactive attitude truly stood out, and he's an absolute credit to the team at Asda. Well done, Sean, and thank you for making my shopping experience so enjoyable!

I wanted to share my recent experience regarding the cleanliness of the toilets during my visit. Unfortunately, I found the facilities to be in an unacceptable state. Each toilet was covered in mess, and the smell was overpowering, making it difficult to breathe. ?
Hygiene should be a top priority, especially in public facilities, and it was quite disappointing to see the condition of the toilets. I believe that maintaining clean and sanitary restrooms is essential for a positive shopping experience.
I hope improvements can be made in the future.

This review is for the Asda cafe. Plenty of seating available, but a poor food choice. Go to Greggs 2 doors down for a much better choice and atmosphere. Toilets for the centre are currently "under repair" and have replacement portals outside - freezing & smelly.

Plenty of produce available, friendly staff, and a great in-house outlet for Korean style food, sushi, california rolls, nagiri, etc. There is plenty of car parking most times.

There is only one issue with this Asda. The lady looking after the self service tills just after 07:00 ignores the flashing red tills until she has finished faffing about doing other things, very frustrating.

Store hygiene is abysmal. Most of the packaging in the fridges are damp. The young staff on the floor appear to be more interested in chatting about their social life than be productive. Guessing a severe lack of management to blame.
