Since the opening time changed to 09:00 there is always a long queue whenever I turn up. My usual wait is about half an hour.As nice as the counter staff are they appear inefficient due to 3 or 4 staff but only 1 on the counter who clearly struggles trying to locate prescriptions.FYI, I am not on FB or X/Twitter to respond on either.

Great service - always well stocked with medication and open late (9pm) on a Saturday so was handy when I needed to collect antibiotics for my son after a hospital visit!

We use to go to the nearby Boots pharmacy but found the poor customer service a good reason to transfer to Asda Pharmacy . Best decision as the service the wonderful Joan gives us and from our observation all the customers she is an absolute delight. Never flustered always professional. Thank you Joan.

I am actually writing this review on behalf of my mother and many people in the community who do not have access to computers.The new manager is fantastic! His new approach seems to have transformed the pharmacy entirely. I remember waiting around 45 minutes for our prescriptions but now they?re even as quick as 2 mins! The queues no longer exist regardless of what time you come to the pharmacy. The service is now nothing short of excellent.The flu vaccine service he is offering is the best we have seen in Reading. The whole vaccine process is at the speed of light. The girls are actively inviting people around the shop in for a walk-in vaccine which is lovely and convenient. They are awesome too and when told so, they keep crediting Yasser and when you ask Yasser, he credits the girls, very lovely to see.We stopped using this pharmacy when the service went downhill but we will be changing my mother, father and the rest of my family back to this pharmacy now that we have seen the great changes made.Yasser and the rest of the team, thank you.10/10 recommend!

I have to say I did have a few problems in the past with calling but after speaking to Ash about the problem she has done her best to sort things out and I will say she is so helpful would recommend if you have a problem speak to Ash and she will try her hardest to sort things out

I have been into Asda pharmacy twice in the past couple of months to collect prescriptions. Both times the pharmacists (different both times) were helpful, kind, happy and efficient. Have swapped to Asda as my usual pharmacy!

If you are going to shut the pharmacy on a Saturday afternoon, please have the common sense and decency to release the spine so that customers can collect their prescription from Boots.

Went in to get a prescription and they said they don't have it, but do have it in a different size. So I went back to my doctor and got the to prescribe the different size. Then I go back to the pharmacy and they say that they don't have that one and they actually have a different one. I was about to phone my doctor again when after probing by me they say "actually this one we have is 1/4 of the strength, so won't be any good." By this point, my doctor's are closed and I'm not able to get the medication I need to treat a serious outbreak of psoriasis... Great, another night of itching and bleeding. They didn't even apologize, the other girl that was there even gave me attitude for their mistake. Thanks guys, I've taken a day off work and messed about all day for you to give me attitude and not solve my urgent problem. Just to add to it, this isn't the first or second time this pharmacy have been terrible. The queue is always massive and apparently the staff don't have a clue. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!

The pharmacy I went to had extremely poor customer care. I gave my prescription to a staff member and specifically asked them to confirm the availability of all the items. They checked and assured me that everything was in stock, so I waited for an hour. However, when the pharmacist ( old Indian man wearing a formal suit) finally approached me, they informed me that they didn't have the items I needed. I expressed my frustration, asking why they hadn't informed me earlier and wasted my time. Disappointingly, the pharmacist ignored my complaint and left. This kind of behavior towards patients is unacceptable, and I plan to file a complaint with the regulator overseeing their practice.

Staff here always seem more interested in chatting and gossiping over serving customers and even when they do their customer service is poor and abrasive. Never seen anything like it from a pharmacy. Maybe just maybe screen your job applicants better. This doesn?t apply to all their staff but most times I?ve been here it?s been terrible customer service and they don?t even pretend to care about being good staff.

I WAS BANNED TO USE THIS PHARMACY! HOORAY!I changed my pharmacy to this because this open until late but it was a mistake. Some staff are helpful but some staff are rude and abrupt. I could hear staff chatting behind of shelves but they do not bother to come out to the counter even long queue at peak time.I used this pharmacy only 4-5 times but medicines were out of stock for 3 times. Now I was banned to come to this pharmacy as I complained that one of medicine I urgently needed is refused to be given as another medicine I ordered together was out of stock (they have no idea when it will be available at all. You cannot keep coming back to check?.).Never mind, I have had changed my pharmacy already before they banned me.>Hi, I am terribly sorry to hear about your experience. More than that, I was told that it is out of stock they said just checked. It means they do not make medicine ready on the day of approval. They could have ordered 5days ago if it was out of stock.In other pharmacies, I can instantly take my order as it is ready.Even though there are people in the back of shelves, seems nobody regularly check people waiting, medicines are not ready until people come in queue, stock are not checked often as I and other review mentioned out of stock, which not often happened in other pharmacies.Hope you take actions soon, without asking people post reviews here, copy, paste and post to somewhere else again.

Processes at this pharmacy are horrendous, the poor lady trying to serve the huge queue, all on her own, it looks like gor each prescription they have to check in several locations in the back to find your medication. Why is there only one attendant helping, the lady is always so friendly and helpful but you can tell how overwhelmed she is!
