Two weeks ago, I broke my phone and was too anxious to visit a repair shop as I was told I might lose some of my photos as it wasn?t backed up ?????. Yesterday, I finally had the courage to get it checked out.
I arrived without an appointment, and a staff member immediately approached me. She informed me that I could get a schedule in about an hour and a half.
A staff named Kiran assisted me, quickly diagnosing the issue and explaining the repair process in clear, detailed terms. My phone was fixed in just three hours and I didn?t lose any of my photos! Another staff helped me get a new screen protector as well which was done in minutes!
The exceptional service deserves a 5-star rating! I?ve seen the staff deal with different sort of problem while I was sat there waiting and I appreciate how patient they were. Thank you to the team yesterday! I had a good experience at this apple store due to their efficiency and kindness. ?

Was getting help from a specialist person, then the geezer dipped midway through helping and never came back. Was on my ones for 45 mins until I realised he wasn?t coming back. It reminded me of my Dad when I was 5

Pushased new Phone 15 pro max, after 2 weeks a 0,5cm black mark appeared on othe screen, took the phone to store they refused to replace the phone and replaced the screen, I asked regards been water resistant as I was consened of the phone been opened, they said was manufactured standard and I shouldn't be conserned. After some months I got some water splash and the screen died, now I had to drive 1:20h (because I live in other city) to try get the phone fixed, very upset ? if they gave me the phone in the first place I shouldn't had problems
APPLE DONT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THEIR COSTOMER, BUY SOMETHING ELSE

I highly suggest anyone taking their device here for inspection/to get it fixed contacts apple and has it mailed in to them for a second opinion. this saved me spending £300 on something that wasn?t my fault! this was a few months ago but i wanted to make sure this doesn?t happen to others.
I had an issue where my ipad randomly seemed to overheat and slightly bend and the screen popped out, and i spoke to an agent online who suggested this was due to the battery expanding and to take it in store to get fixed on the one year warranty due to it being a manufacturing default. I took this to Reading, and within 2mins after being spoken down to and accused of using excessive force to bend this ipad myself with my hands as apparently ?even stepping on it wouldn?t cause this much damage?, i was dismissed and told it was impossible to be the battery and that i would have to pay £280 for a replacement. I mentioned what the agent had said, that it was overheating and there was a buzzing noise but again, i was told there was absolutely no way it could be the battery and he looked at me like i was stupid for even suggesting that. He was extremely condescending, and I got the impression he saw me as a young girl trying to lie my way into a free repair, despite having done lots of research to back up my claim, and so wasn?t worth any of his time or a proper inspection.
He even demonstrated with his hands that i must have picked up the ipad and physically bent it myself as anything else was impossible! He barely looked at the ipad, tapping the screen to see if it worked and that was about it. He didn?t introduce himself, so unfortunately i didn?t get his name. i felt quite embarrassed that he was suggesting that i was lying and must have used excessive force to bend the ipad this much (why he thinks anyone would do that i have no idea!). Because i was shocked and embarrassed by this conversation, I just politely said i would keep the broken ipad after he said there was nothing more to do or say, and left feeling quite upset.
I get they probably get people in who try and get free repairs for their own errors, but i still found this all really rude and not the quality check I expected, especially when i had several online agents saying that it was a strong possibility this wasn?t my fault as well as photos online of people who had the same issue happen to them. I messaged apple again after i left and they agreed that something still didn?t seem right and he definitely should have offered to at least check the battery. so they told me to mail the ipad in and they would do a second check.
I was told within a few days that the battery clearly had issues and would need replacing and that this was the cause behind the ipad overheating, bending slightly and screen popping. They decided they would replace both the battery and the bend (ended up just sending me a new refurbished ipad) for free under the first year warranty as a manufacturing default. If i had just agreed in the shop after my 2min consultation i would have been convinced it was all my fault and paid £300 for something that was in fact a manufacturing flaw like i told him. I really urge anyone who gets their devices checked here to request to mail them off to apple for free over live chat for a second opinion if they don?t feel satisfied with their inspection.

I can honestly say that this company is awful - chat is useless and told me to ring the store - haha they don't answer!
Booked a battery replacement - only took ONE hour on the internet.
On getting to the store, the manager said he could not find out if they had a battery in stock and it any case it would take 1 hour+ (web site said 30mins) to replace and maybe he could complete it by tomorrow.
I do so wish I never got an apple phone and they want £90 for a wee battery that does not last more than 2 years - crap product.
That is almost a £1 a week just to have a phone
I can say that the total experience is the WORSE I have ever experienced from a firm
Solution go to a local English company who actually gives the service they quote.

I have an appt and arrived a little early- there?s 9 members of staff in front of me not dealing with customers and they can?t deal with me earlier because their booking system doesn?t allow it apparently ?
However they redeemed themselves by the knowledge and service I received which was great. Everything was explained step by step in terms I understood. They were brilliant.

the advisor at Reading was not helpful had one staff telling me to come back later and they will get my phone fixed, when my accout is locked, went through a 40 minute drive to Reading (clossest one) with a very different staff who spoke very down on me ,even my partener who could hear the conversation agreed that was very disrespectful, i get it its 6:30pm mayeb hes tierd but i dont deserve that either espcially when ive come back for no reasona nd lost 2 hoiurs of my evening , i use apple ID face ID for 2 years i do not remeber my password just fix the screen so i can login via face ID or finger print, the find my iphone policy is stupid i know where the apple store is. The whole day just been ruined at the hands of apple

Disappointing customer service from Apple Reading today. Turns out that my appointment made online to get the battery changed was just an appointment to see if Apple would deign to put me into a queue to actually change the battery. The whole process took over 2hr, which is not what I expected!

been in the Apple Store in reading multiple times and every time the service was amazing and the stuff were so friendly they gave me some amazing advice on what I needed and I would deal buy my MacBook from them

There is plenty of parking space available, and the location is easy to access. The service is excellent.
