From the first interaction on the phone with the salon to the consultation with Altin, a curly hair specialist, to the colour with Stelios, everything has been a treat. I can't recommend them enough.

I'm overdue in writing this review but oh my gosh what an experience and I can't praise Altin, Stelios and the salon enough. From the moment I made my first enquiry on the phone I had a feeling this place was special.I can honestly say this was the best haircut experience I've ever had. I left the salon feeling like a million dollars (still do) and the compliments I've had on my hair since keep coming day after day.

Oh my gosh, you have to check out this hair salon in Reading! Seriously, it's hands down the absolute best. I just got my hair colored there, and let me tell you, it's the best highlights job I've had in like forever! Altin nailed the color, exactly what I wanted. The haircut was also great and the staff is super friendly and on point with everything. Seriously, top-notch service all around!

I've tried so many hairdressers over the years and I can honestly say I have never had such a good cut. Stelios really took his time to understand my hair and knew exactly what I wanted. I have extremely thick hair but he barely raised an eyebrow and seemed to be more amused by the amount rather than scared (which is normally the case). And an amazing head massage during my hair wash from Charlie. It's such a lovely vibe in there.So glad I discovered this salon.

After 18 years of having highlights, on visiting Alternate Salon my hair is finally the colour I have always wanted it. The team at Alternate are experts in what they do. I highly recommend.

I had a much needed hair re-vamp today, and it was my first experience at the salon - but certainly won't be my last.These guys are not just hairdressers- they are artists!! They really took the time to listen to what I wanted, which was a more natural looking colour, and created exactly that.I almost cried (tears of joy) when I saw the final look. The colour and cut are perfect, and for the first time in a long time, I actually feel like myself! Thank you!!!

A friend of mine recommended Alternate, and it didn?t disappoint! The stylists and colourists are all very talented and put you at ease. I got my first colour done there recently, they did an amazing blonde balayage/trim/style, they understood exactly the look I was after, I?m so happy with it. I?ve had loads of compliments! I?d definitely recommend Alternate!!
