Lovely food, speedy service from Louise who was doing a very good job even tho it looked like she was by herself running the whole floor (apart from 1 other person behind the bar) also hearing that alot of people had discount codes, which is gonna make more busy then normal.

A Toby Inn at it's best. Full credit to Sam who was masterful at hosting and managing the droves of incoming customers on Sunday afternoon. The carvery was great as was the atmosphere. We recommend.

Went there on a week day, got there just before the rush.
Service was good, helpful staff- although a little hovery when we were eating.
We had a carvery, the meat looked a little dry, as I think we were the first ones for dinner. Everything else was nice and fresh and delicious. The yorkie puds are soooo good.
Facilities are clean and tidy including the toilets. Ample parking including for disabled.
Lots of seating, and some tables have a nice level of privacy.

Gus offered us magnificent service this Sunday eve. Very genius with the amount of water provided which we felt was a challenge, which was heroically accepted. We are not only full of delicious roast dinner food but also 4 LITRES of water. Not laughed so hard in a while. Appreciate being labeled 'the happiest table'. Happy Sunday to you, Gus!

First off, improvements need to be made to clear the outside carpark,as there are cans and bits of broken glass in the bays, and you need experienced staff as they dont have a clue about the menus you offer, first time we've had this. Or how to present good impressions, looked like they couldn't be asked with customers and it showed, from start to end.
People who go in, dont want to be watched and ill-observed how they're eating at their table, then expect them to clear and stack their own plates, because they don't want to. Just hire agency staff if you cant find the staff to train them properly.
Next, the carvery man was nice enough, but left alone to do it, whilst another member came out to check portions, but didnt help in serving from his side, so it was hard to spoon out food, there should be potato tongs not salad spoons. The gravy looked overgranulated and thick and the gammon meat was cold and dry but we enjoyed the veg and stuffing. Sorry, but we won't venture back here, you'd also have to change location, as the ringroads to the location are really awful.
