Having frequently visited the Newbury Toby Carvery, and always been happy with the level of service provided, we thought things couldn?t get any better? WELL, how wrong I was!?Jason was tentative to our needs and everyone around us, which made for a pleasant environment.Just as we reached a crescendo, the table behind us let out, what can only be described as the beginnings of World War 3! Buttocks clapped ten times a minute to the rhythm of Shakira?s World Cup anthem and actually distorted the bubble configuration in my carbonated Pepsi. Birds migrated south, elephants left the Serengeti and popped their head around the corner to see who the dirty culprit was. I can honestly say, that guff aged my face by a good ten years, however it did also strip the hair from inside my nostrils, so swings and roundabouts really.Safe to say, the table of three soon left, and as I peered over, I could see what can only be liked to F1 skid marks on the seat? much to my dismay it also spelt out the culprits name? dirty Debbie, we love you!!

My (very large) family visited Toby Carvery, Newbury at the start of December. The team were very short staffed, but you wouldn?t have known. We had the BEST experience there and were treated like royalty. Jason went above and beyond and gave us the best best best time! Thank you Jason and team - we will come back because of you!

Your staff made our group of 28 Westberks young carers aged 12-18 very welcome. Great customer service and interaction from staff with the young people.They made their Christmas meal an enjoyable experience.

Liked the way we were welcomed and looked after . Liked the perfectly cooked vegetables and Yorkshire. Unfortunately the pork was we had was well over cooked and dry ,but the beef was just about right ,needed to be a bit rarer in my opinion, but it was tender and flavourful.

Had a great time here. Went for works Christmas dinner. Was good as no messing about trying to remember everyone?s individual orders. Food was great. I think they were a little under staffed on the day we were there but everything went smoothly and everyone got the food and drink they wanted.

Lady that served us with a little knitted angel wings was lovely, food was lovelyVery disappointed that there were things on the festive menu that were not available like profiteroles and choc brownie both the most common deserts and not available. I also ordered Christmas pud but it never came out didn?t matter though I was probably full by the. Anyway!.Really nice to sit in the booth and catch up with friends. As we left we took a selfie in front of the Christmas tree, we unfortunately found the manager to be rude and obnoxious and didn?t even offer to take the photo for us and he walked away tutting as we were giggling when he answered the phone. It was just rude and dismissive.Parking: Easy to access, big car park that wraps around the side of the building.

Took the family for a Mid week carvery, and it was REALLY GOOD, fair play to all the staff. Although it was busy they were well organised and we were made to feel very welcome.Keep up the good work. ?

What a fantastic experience. Thought I?d pop in with my best friend for a mid week roast, not only did we get the Surprise of the Black Friday deal but my best friend also fell in love in with one of the waiters and they?re are now in a committed marriage. Thankyou to Stephanie also who was a fabulous waitress. Will deffo be coming back here again, what a great bunch.

Overall service was great, food was good but shame some sides arrived so much sooner than we were able to get the carvery. Seating was a problem for 7 people but they were able to move us, heating was on full blast and needed to be turned off but they did do this for us on askingParking: You have to enter your reg plate for free parkingKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and welcoming
