Popped in for a light lunch while on a bike ride. Didn?t book - probably worth doing at weekends. Pleasant welcome and staff though service was a bit slow. Nice rustic interior. Plenty of choice for drinks and food with V options too - however, V ice-cream in my desert was awful. WiFi available but was very weak where we sat. Small issues though. We would go back again.

Didn't stay, though did very much enjoy the delicious food. Service was quick, chatty and very efficient! 5* would definitely go back!

Noteworthy details: Nice atmosphere with cozy fireplaces. If you are tall however, mind your head!

Had Sunday lunch ,2 people had the beef 1 had chicken. Was plenty of it but the beef was tough and the chicken very chewy. Think will stick to the week menu more choice.

The Swan Inn Newtown is a great place to visit. We stopped off for a spot of lunch.
The Inn has a great atmosphere that hits you the minute you step out the car door.
Tha staff are very welcoming and friendly.
The inn has a beautiful garden with a stream running through it, would be idyllic on a sunny day.
We feasted on a selection of Fish and Chips, Ceasar Salad and Soup, all the dishes cooked to perfection. And large enough for my big belly.
We will definitely be visiting when we are next in the area.

Wow wow wow. We have just had our Christmas dinner here. It was absolutely incredible. Service was absolutely perfect, nice steady gap between courses. Atmosphere was lovely. Main man was so attentive and ensured everyone and everything was running well. All waiters and waitresses were superb. The food was absolutely out of this world. Thankyou for an absolutely fantastic day and giving up part of your Christmas to ensure ours was so perfcet. Hopefully you are all now at home relaxing. See you all again soon x

We celebrated our daughter's first birthday at The Swann Inn today, and it was nothing short of incredible! The space was absolutely humongous, comfortably accommodating our entire family and more. The warm and inviting fireplace added such a cosy touch to the atmosphere, making it the perfect setting for a family gathering.
The service was impeccable?dedicated staff ensured that drinks were always flowing, and their attentiveness made the entire experience seamless. The food was outstanding, with everyone raving about the quality and flavour. It?s rare to find a place where every single dish impresses, but The Swann Inn delivered in every way.
We?ve already decided that this will be ?our family pub? moving forward. It?s heartening to see that pubs like this still exist in our area?a proper gem!

I ventured to this pub by accident and they accomodated me for dinner on my own. The pub is beautiful and obviously full of history. The service was good, the staff were lovely and the food was delightful. I would recommend.

Brilliant, brilliant! A really wonderful friendly welcome, before we'd even sat down. Thereafter, the service was spot on and food delicious. I can't fault this inn, will certainly be returning and many times!

Brilliant pub. They even took good care of my border terrier - a water bowl and treats were waiting for us (we mentioned we had a dog when booking). Good choice is good and delicious

From the moment we walked in and were greeted by the adorable Marley, I loved this little place! The owners were wonderful and very welcoming as was their dog, Marley. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was super charming. This was my first trip to England, but it will not be my last. I will definitely be back to visit The Swan Inn!
