The Entertainer is something of an anomaly in modern Britain. It hopes to be a friendly neighbourhood toy shop and maintains a somewhat approachable atmosphere and corporate identity.Unfortunately being a smaller toy shop means it often can't compete on price or variety with other companies. Since even larger supermarkets stock toys as well, smaller stores such as this one will struggle. Pretty much the only time I visit this particular one is if the kids have earned a little treat or we're not sure what to get for a birthday party. The staff are friendly enough, and the location is fine. Not really a lot else to say.
