Extremely rude and unprofessional behaviour from an elderly staff member who clearly prioritises himself over customers. When we asked politely if he could briefly pause cleaning so my partner could fill up at the only available pump on the correct side, he raised his hand in a stern ?wait? gesture and refused to move. He showed no care for the inconvenience caused and acted as though he was personally offended by a basic request. He later made a snide remark to assert control, even though the area was far from clean. Involving another customer to laugh along only made the experience worse. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable, and this staff member seriously lacks professionalism and awareness of how to treat people respectfully.
I find the two workers left alone here just like to do their own thing and don?t care for customers at all.
What a strange experience!

Pulled in and there was only one available pump on the correct side for my car - not a problem.
The problem was that an elderly Asian man who word there was ?cleaning? the pump.
I waited then after a while asked politely if I could use the pump. He told me to wait!
So I waited a bit longer then asked again, he said no, I?m cleaning - this was just with a cloth and spray, the pump was not disassembled in any way. No reason why I couldn?t refuel.
Eventually I had to raise my voice and tell him to get out the way because I needed to refuel.
He then told me to use another pump so I told him there were no others available. He said to use one on the opposite side. This would have scratched the paintwork of my new car, a Porsche , so I did not want to cause damage to the car.
I am a customer who wanted to give money to the company but he was not allowing me to do so.
Finally he moved and when I went in to pay the friendly Indian girl working there apologised to me. Clearly she saw his actions as unreasonable.

I told him I always have problems when he serves me and i said i ll not return. He replied: Good.
Also reading the comments it seems this place dont care anyways about any costumer service. So...Dont go there AVOID!

Very disappointed in my recent experience at this Shell Service Station. I used the air service but never again. They've disabled the card payment on this machine, as it 'goes wrong too often and customers complain ' and it only takes cash now. But when it's faulty, as it was on Friday, no refunds are given. This machine took air out of my tyres instead of adding it to raise the pressure to the set level. It left my tyre under inflated so all I got was warning messages in the car. Useless staff who couldn't understand English and just handed me a card with an email address on it to claim a refund. The email only process card refunds so is useless for cash transactions, which is all the machine accepts. Incompetent staff and broken air machine at premium prices. No good.

Came for air, only cash accepted. Found a pound and put it in. No air. Saw cashier who said it was £1.50. Put an extra 50p in. No air. No help from cashier, blamed me for not reading price said lots of people have the same problem. Maybe the garage needs to sort this.

Prices marked on goods not those charged. Specifically Tropicana orange juice 2:10 on shelf, 2:55 when charged.

Bit of an odd experience. On a return trip home, we went here late evening (around 23:00) to fill up and head off.Despite being a 24/7 station, the shop's closed. Fair enough. I assume there's a lack of staff. We arrive and realise that there are no gloves available at the bins, with signs telling you to request gloves from staff. Fair enough, so I walk over to the window to do just that.A fair bit of confusion kicks in but eventually we understand one another and a glove is provided.I fill up and return to the window to pay. I ask to confirm that the shop is closed and it is. I ask if it's possible to at least buy something to drink from him (as opposed to going into the shop). He says yes, but seems very reluctant to get something before I pay for the fuel (as opposed to tacking it onto the bill as per usual). I take the hint and pay. I ask him to scan my Shell membership card on the my phone's app. He needs to briefly take possession of my phone to do so. Again, fair enough. He asks what I'd like, I ask if they have any iced coffee, we settle on two random ones which are quite fine enough. At this point I realise that I haven't received the receipt for the fuel and another small faff starts trying to get it printed. I have long since learnt the value of getting receipts, having previously been wrongly issued a VARS 'drive off without paying' notice a number of years ago using BP's 'BPme' app--fortunately easy to prove thanks to digital receipts, but a pain in the rump to get sorted and to communicate with VARS and BP's customer service. Also, our local Shell is stellar, so I've long since shifted my patronage over to Shell, but have since given up on using apps to 'pay at the pump and go' because I no longer trust stations to properly investigate their own end before accusing customers of not paying if something goes wrong somewhere along the line.Regardless, I digress, but suffice it to say I found the customer service bizarre. As though the expectation was that I, the customer, would simply drive off if the attendant went to fetch something from the shelves for me. Call it PTSD from my experience with BP from ages ago, if you will, but it came across as though the attendant was constantly suspicious of me.I mean, I don't blame the attendant--I'm sure they've seen all sorts in their time. But I thought the expectation was to err on the side of friendliness and customer service, rather than the assumption that anyone filling up at a 24/7 service station at 23:00 must be some sort of suspicious character.I sincerely hope that's not the direction our society is headed in, at least.Regardless, the suspicion and abrupt nature of the dialogue left an impression, and not a particularly pleasant one.Otherwise, it seems like a nice station, and we'd likely use it again in future. Though next time would probably be for the EV charger :)Thanks all the same. I'm hoping it was just a bit of a miscommunication--talking through glass makes conversation difficult at the best of times.

Absolutely bad customer service in my experience, I'd avoid that place.. people at counter just ignore you until you complain, then too busy doing other "more important" stuff, laugh at you if not knowing something, what the heck!

Fuel extremely overpriced. Boycot this garage. £1.89 for diesel, shame on you. Excuses left for overpricing, whilst making huge profits. Hopefully people boycot the establishment. To you'd have to be nuts to fill up here.

I only use it because it's on my commute.
