Good hotel with good rooms.Rooms: The rooms are spacious, clean, and tidy with a touch of elegance.Nearby activities: The high Street is a stone trow away, so it is easy to explore different activities.Safety: The town is very safeWalkability: With the high Street 5-minute walk away, it's easy to reach most amenities in a single round.Food & drinks: There is a restaurant at reception that serves breakfast and dinner and a barNoteworthy details: There's no parking at this hotel, not even to stop. You must drive to an NCP car park approximately 150m down the road, which offers a cheap rate for overnight stay

Staff were lovely and always happy to help. Definitely understaffed, the restaurant was closed a lot as nobody to run it. We were there 3 nights and no housekeeping, but when we asked they came to empty rubbish.Breakfast was great, breakfast staff nice and chatty and they?ll cook food however you want it. Locations good except for the car parking, but didn?t really have an issue using the one down the road. The room was very nice, enough space for us.Would come back here again.

Gutted there isn't any free parking but there is a multistorey car park less than 5 minute walk away and overnight parking is really reasonably priced.Rooms: Clean and tidyNearby activities: Victoria Park less than a minutes walk. Parkway shopping centre less than 3 minutes walk away. Located close to town centre and lots of shops

Visited 5th to 6th February, 2024. Great location, multi-storey car park close by. Both managers could not have been better, brilliant service, manager on 5th and the chef went out of their for us again this year as they did in February last year, Nice breakfast in the morning, only issue is it was not very warm. I think the company really needs to address the issue of how they keep the food warm, the lamps are not enough, the dishes need to sit inside something similar to a hostess trolley but on the counter. Rooms were lovely, up to date and clean, well done to the cleaning staff. We have used this hotel several times and the bathroom extracter fans never seem to be working, there should be a bathmat as the baths are very slippery but they are never supplied and also there are always only enough towels for one person which puzzles me when the room is booked for 2!

Great site, let down by no parking on site however there are nearby carparks.Meet and greet was great. Keith was very helpful, professional, and had my room booking sorted out already.Evening meal was excellent and I was prepared of a short wait which was appreciated.Room was great, clean and well maintained.Breakfast was a letdown. I was there at 0630 but hadn't been added to the list (this was a business booking which included continental) but I was allowed a coffee. Not a great start to my day. But overall a good stay.

Premier Inn Newbury needs to tell guests it's unacceptable to slob around in reception in dressing gowns and slippers mid afternoon.Not a good first impression.

Our trip to Newbury while short, was quite nice. Visiting my partners mother we stayed in the closest hotel.Now onto the room: Overall the look was nice. We each had a few cups of tea which was nice.The heating in the room seemed to be stuck at 19, while it wasn?t cold it certainly wasn?t warm. And the extractor fan inside the bathroom didn?t work. The giant extractor fan outside the bathroom door however never shut off, even when the light was off. Keeping us both up all night.I took a shower, while in small print (Couldn?t see without my glasses) it does say a bath mat can be provided if asked I did slip over in the extremely slippery bath. Thankfully I landed on my butt so no harm done.Sadly on our way out while checking out the. Elevators were all down, a notification would have been nice so we would have prepared our self to carry our luggage down the stairs.

I stayed here with other family members to spend time with family who were hosting Christmas with no spare rooms!It was clean and minimalist with friendly service and a comfortable bed, which was what I expected from previous PI stays.I would recommend the service here especially as I felt they went over and beyond what would be expected.Checkout is 12pm and I was poorly with stomach issues in the 2 hours prior to this, the staff were really helpful and understanding, allowing me to stay a longer time in the room to recover and assisting me with my bags etc.The lovely breakfast lady even gave me my breakfast to takeaway on a plate as I wasn?t able to eat very much at all, much appreciated later in the day when I still hadn?t got home and hunger pangs started to kick in! Relay yummy breakfast?The hotel is on a fairly busy road but everything is sound-proofed, so very quiet night and day.The only thing I didn?t like was not being able to open the window, as the air con system was a bit dry at night, and no filtered or bottled water available- best bring your own if you drink it! :)Rooms: Clean & Functional
