Our Newbury visit had been a little stressful so a Pot of Tea and a Fruit Scone in M&S was most welcome. At 2.30pm on a Friday afternoon it was quiet with a nice table by the window looking down into the Park Way Shopping Complex. Very friendly staff and a clean environment. Thank you M&S.

I went for a bra fitting and had the pleasure of being looked after by Lily. From the beginning, she instantly made me feel at ease with a warm welcome and a gentle manner.
She had very honest advice about which styles and ranges would fit best and was clearly very knowledgeable. She took her time and her uplifting words made me feel so good and confident in myself.
She related it to her own experiences and made me feel like I was in really safe hands. She personalised the whole experience, taking notice of my style and outfit choices which may seem like trivial details but she brought back colours and styles that complimented me.
Despite it being only a brief encounter it?s made a lasting impact on me and she?s a real asset to the Newbury Team and I think this should be recognised.
Thank you so much, Lily. I think you?re a truly wonderful lady and I hope you have a lovely Mothers Day.

My wife has been shopping at the Newbury store for many years, normally a pleasant experience. Today was a disaster, firstly there was only one staff member on the check out who was run off her feet with no other help available, then when my wife, who had done the weekly shop went to take her trolley to go to the car park, the lifts were out of order and there was nobody who could help her with her shopping. If this is what you think of customer service, you are a disaster. If you are unable to help customers because of broken equipment in your store then reviews like this will deter people from shopping with you.

A very good store, excellent service and products ! There is a nice Cafeteria with toilets on the first floor which is accessible by lift or stairs. You can enter from Northbrook St or Parkway shopping centre.

Absolutely hopeless if you want to get a bra fitting or even just a second opinion. Can only make appointments online, they're all at lunchtime which is not helpful when you want to bring a teen in after school. Yet in store you might be able to make an appointment at another time of day if you find the right person. You cannot even speak to a person in the store. I thought m&s prided themselves on this service. It's less than ideal.
