Brad was so helpful when we came to collect our order. He checked the case to make sure all was there. And helped advise us on a Vodka. Really appreciated his help and friendly attitude. Great customer service really does make a difference and deserves to be rewarded! Thanks! (Newbury)

Really disappointing experience. I walked in and there was no hello or eye contact or friendly greeting from the two unoccupied members of staff. Nevertheless I started shopping. Having had a long journey - and gone out of my way to come to this branch - I wanted to use the toilet so I went up to the person on the till and enquired where the toilets were. He ignored me. Another member of staff walked past me at the till but carried on and also ignored me. So I said ?excuse me? again, and asked where the toilets were. The man behind the till finally looked at me and said pardon? So I asked my question for a third time and he replied ?we don?t have toilets for the public?. I said oh, right ok, in which case I?m going to have to leave! To which he said ?sorry about that? and looked away and went back to what he was doing. So rude! I just said it was their loss, as I was about to do my entire Christmas and new year shop. Really disappointed with the treatment I received as a long standing customer. I will stick with the excellent and friendly, welcoming branch in Marlborough.

We have a majestic closer to us than the Newbury majestic, but we nevertheless travel out of way to go to the Newbury one. This is quite simply because of the staff. The manager James is literally the nicest chap I've met and I if I could give a higher star rating to him and his staff, I would. I now tell my friends to go and get their wine from Newbury majestic because I know they will value the experience and help of James, the way I do. He offers honest, helpful and superb advice on wine and I can't thank him enough for his all round excellence. My family reunion was made even better by the amazing wine he recommended that got me a lot of compliments. Top store, top manager, top staff, top wine.

Excellent Majestic. We now exclusively use this Wine Merchant for our parties and just the odd bottle when we fancy! Manager James and his staff are always helpful and they have great enthusiasm and knowledge of the world of wine! Can?t fault how this team have safely dealt with the Covid restrictions and they also deliver and will bring in stock from other stores for you if they do not have it!

I don't usually write reviews, but I've taken the time to write this one because I think great people and great service should be recognised. Recently went to Newbury majestic to get some rose and white wines. I'm really interested in wine and haven't often used majestic stores because I haven't ever received the specialist wine advice I'm after. I did however receive absolutely expert advice from the manager of the Newbury store last week. He was absolutely excellent, and his advice was bang on. I believe his name was James, and I will defo be returning to Newbury Majestic because I value and trust the opinion of him and his staff. They are genuinely lovely and run a professional, efficient and excellent store which makes you want to return! If that isn't a recipe for retail success I don't know what is. I can't remember the name of the other staff member who I spoke to, but she was also excellent and they are both a credit to the Majestic brand. Glad I gave majestic another go, and will definitely be going back to get wine from James and his staff again. Superb and thanks for recommending me the most delicious drinks guys!

Good as always. The three G's. Go in, Get it, Go out. Know what we want, there on display, pay at the till. Friendly staff who offer advice if required. We don't, we know what we want and get it. Easy. A great store

Staff were great, but Majestic have stopped labelling the wines to show how sweet / dry it is. Definitely a backward step.

Great selection, though the service was a little slow as there was only one member of staff. But he did try his best!!
