“We have a majestic closer to us than the Newbury majestic, but we nevertheless travel out of way to go to the Newbury one. This is quite simply because of the staff. The manager James is literally the nicest chap I've met and I if I could give a higher star rating to him and his staff, I would. I now tell my friends to go and get their wine from Newbury majestic because I know they will value the experience and help of James, the way I do. He offers honest, helpful and superb advice on wine and I can't thank him enough for his all round excellence. My family reunion was made even better by the amazing wine he recommended that got me a lot of compliments. Top store, top manager, top staff, top wine.”

“Free parking, disabled parking right near the entrance. Toilets are upstairs, but there is a disabled lift. The refrigerated food section is like a walk-in freezer (super cold). Tills are at the back of the shop which gives you a great opportunity to nick stuff on your way out ? Usual great quality food as expected.”
