Manager on shop floor very unprofessional, leaning on the merchandise like a cowboy. Advised unable to sell mobile phones as not prepared to take 5 mins to do a sale, and fobbed us off about not able to sell certain makes. Didn't discuss what we were after and very dismissive. Told us to return tomorrow instead. If I could do zero stars I would. Even though it takes more time to do so, I will avoid Newbury branch in the future and go elsewhere.

My husband and I visited your store late afternoon on Thursday 13/3/25 the assistant we had to help us with looking for a new washing machine was Sunil he was so very helpfull. Sunil was very helpfull explained everything very throughly and pleased to say our washing machine was deliveredthis morning at 10.45 14/3/25.

What an amazing experience we had with Anna today in store. She took so much time to show my 87yr old Dad TVs (maybe even a couple of hours). She was patient, kind and incredibly knowledgeable. Despite us showing interest in a very expensive model, Anna steered my father towards something cheaper when she realised he had visual impairment and it would suit him better. I live well over an hour away but would drive to the Newbury store and request Anna if I had to make a big purchase in the future. Highly recommended.

Very unhelpful staff. Visited the Newbury store, 3 staff downstairs, one looking at his screen & when I went to approach him, turned his back & walked away. At the checkout, one staff member with head down giving the impression 'don't even try' & another who was looking bored, but appeared disinterested when approached by another customer. This is the fourth time I have been in the last few weeks a lot of items needed. Decent range of products give the one star, but I will be buying online elsewhere again

We have been going to this branch for 20+ years and it is our top choice for buying electronics and household devices. The reason is we have always found the staff super helpful. If you buy online, you are just dealt with by lines of software. Here you get the important added value of skilled people. The latest example is Javier and the guys in the computer department, who sorted out a software install PC challenge that would have beaten us if we had made an online sale. So thanks Javier and all the team. We'll be back :-)

I asked for help and two members of staff were rude and brushed me off. I understand they are busy but no excuse to be rude towards a customer. I would have waited if they weren't rude.

Wow what can I say! We went upstairs where there was a lovely lady helping us with some queries about a tumble dryer. But after going downstairs to pick up our order we were greeted by a very rude lady. She was not helpful at all and the guy that helped us with the product to the car completely ignored us and didn?t even attempt to interact. Me and my dad were complete fob smacked!

I am very disappointed as Curry?s have very poor, greedy attitude to give NHS staff discount from Blue Light Card. On the day I bought product, my card did not work, next day when I came back to prove my card is working the staff member done everything to not do anything and everything to not give me this discount. Staff use excuse and strange explanation that I decided to gave up and not continue?.I use blue light card in many place and never was that complicated like here at Curry?s.

Got to the store and asked if i could get some help, a lovely lady told me should we give me a hand in 5 min. When i saw her again, she was walking with not sure if a colleague called Stephan in which told me there was a waiting time of 20 min. While walking through the store waiting for someone to help he started talking to someone for 15 min laughing and speaking something not work related. As a customer, this was extremely poor customer Service. Im just hoping i got the right item as there was no help or guidance.
