Trading goods in for bank transfer is a pain, they try to call you if there's a price difference, that's fine but you have to catch the call because you can't phone the stores, the only shop I've ever heard of we're the phones are for internal calls only and you can't call the store. Absolutely ridiculous, and they say on voicemail to message on Facebook, two problems with this, I'm not on social media so how do I contact them now?? And second my wife is but when she tried the messenger didn't work. So now we're waiting to catch their call or until our next day off to pop into store to get our money for our handed in items. The young lady helping us is lovely, these issues are nothing to do with the branch staff or branch in particular it's a company issue. It is absolutely ridiculous that you can't call stores and they need to learn not everyone is on social media. And for those that are, seeing Facebook messenger is the only way to contact them back make sure it works. I have gone off CEX over the years, the fact they sell used items for the same as they cost knew is a joke, they justify it with their 5yr guarantee despite i can get that in John Lewis and Richersounds on a brand knew item. I don't by physical games anymore. And cheap dvds can be had anywhere so this is it for me with CEX won't be using them again.

Complete and utter waste of time, went in there on Wednesday, price for the phone they gave me was £129 trade in, went in there today (2 days apart), clearly stipulated that I wanted trade in and the phone plummeted down to £104, seriously, these guys are a joke, don't believe their pricing on the website, it's just a reel to get you in and waste your time, you are 100% better off selling your stuff on eBay, and hilariously, from my experience it's less hassle than dealing with this company.
Update: both prices given were quotes, you never tested any of my items as I refused the second quote due to the ridiculous price drop, let's just be realistic here, the staff member that quoted me £104 was trying it on, unfortunately for them though, they didn't realise I got a quote 2 days before from another staff member for £129 (just wanted to bring it back in with the box). You guys make up the prices as you go along, once again waste of time and the word 'con artists' also comes to mind. Clearly a shop that doesn't train their employees on grading, literally leaving them to it, and more importantly, leaving the customer out of pocket if they pick the wrong staff member. Glad I'm not desperate and i have already sold the phone on eBay for £110 after fees, also, that's cash not trade in. Seriously though, utterly awful experience.

They'll worm out of a 24 month warranty anyway they can! my oled switch screens knackered and they said it's because it's been used handheld?? Squashed or dropped? No sign of squashing or dropping so I'm guessing it's just signs of use? Like when I bought it? USED!??-Ashwin, Unfortunately i can't reply to your message below? Hopefully you'll see this reply? there is no physical signs of damage to the switch other than the obvious signs of use, it has developed this fault through general ware and tear and has not been dropped or squashed.
