Never again will i use carpet right. James the manager was appalling as was the complaints team, he never called us back even after numerous calls, promised the sales guy that came and quoted that he would call us but didn't, he knows he didn't tell us about a fitter fee otherwise would of called us back!!!!!!! We were never told that there was a fitting charge till the day the fitters came and demanded we pay them into there account which we felt uncomfortable with. Never got any paperwork till we chased them! THE SALES GUY WANTED A SALE BASED ON FINANCE WE WENT THOUGH, AT NO POINT DID HE MENTION A FITTERS FEE JUST THAT WAS ALL IN THE PRICE!If we would of known about the fitters fee we would of got other quotes rather than go through a credit check!When we complained to head office we were just fobbed off and advised its in there terms and conditions even though we weren't given any or again told about it!Shocking experience !!!!!

Not the best experience. Ordered some vinyl for our downstairs toilet. First roll was damaged. Fitters had already made the cut, so were unable to use the remainder of that roll.James in store was helpful over the phone, got us a new roll and fitted us in the week after. Same fitters arrived.....only after finishing the job, they decided to use the facilities that were not plumbed in. If they had asked me beforehand, I could have guided them to a working toilet.Phoned the store back directly after to speak to James. He was out of the store, and was told by a colleague he would call me back. I am still waiting for that phone call, many weeks later.

We had a fantastic experience from the store and the carpet fitting team.James, the manager, helped us to pick the right carpet for the right areas of the house and even put up with our indecisive nature with charm and patience.Once we settled on a carpet, he explained the costing, any discounts available and sales at that moment and was flexible around fitting dates.Even when we had to reschedule it wasn't a problem at all.The carpet fitters arrived just as we had a leak in the room they were due to fit. They actively helped me to contain the leak, find the source, empty my system and ensure the damage was minimal. They couldn't fit as I had to get a plumber out, but they were incredibly helpful and resourceful.That said, all upstairs carpets are now fitted and we love them. No after issues at all.All in all, I would recommend this business to anyone looking for new carpets. We are very happy with the service, the process, the fitters and the product.

Unfortunately I am unable to leave 5 stars. I had a carpet fitted a few months ago & the carpet was not in the best condition & the fitters did not fit it very well at all. I complained to the store & the lady Sarah was very helpful & she organised replacement carpets to be fitted. Again the carpet has been fitted bad, there are creases in the carpets, all the grippers are Bent & it just looks terrible. I have emailed the store & been in contact with customer service, nobody has been in contact as promised. Unfortunately I will be taking this further as I am so disappointed. I have used carpetright for years, but you need to get good fitters as yours are terrible.

We had great service from James when we visited the Newbury store today. We are very indecisive and had lots of questions. James was really patient with us and explained everything thoroughly, helping us to make a decision. We were both very happy with our experience in store and look forward to the carpets being fitted! Popped into carpet right in Newbury to look at carpets. I was only browsing to get an idea of what I wanted and was helped by a young man called ollie. He told me all I needed to know about the carpets I liked the look of and helped me make a decision there and then. If it wasn't for his great service and friendly manner I would still be deciding what to get now and would probably end up with the wrong carpet. Amazing service with a smile
