I stopped in Newbury on my way home. I wanted to have some decent coffee ... There were two on the same high street but this one to me was more appealing and relaxing.
Parking: It is very close to the canal route on River Kennet. Grab a coffee then wander down for a meander.

Cosy atmosphere and comfy seating. Staff are always friendly and chatty and make you feel welcome! Also great vegan options and choice of plant milk!!

Coffee is always amazing! Yummy food! The staff are awesome and friendly! Definitely makes a great morning stop! Also allows dogs and provides water bowls and sells dog treats.

Good, central location. Good quality coffee. Service is a bit slow, and there is always a queue. Not many healthy food options, wheat intolerant, and/or vegetarian options.

I would really like the cafe to be renovated, there is terrible old furniture, sticky tables and on Saturday, for example, at 1.00 there is nothing left from the baked goods, probably no one has ever seen a better cafe, they like it all

Both male staff so lovely and chatty today, swift service and amazing coffee! Tidy in shop, and as a whole nice atmospher, perfect spot to sit in the sunny weather!

We came in to get 2 iced frappes to go and were served by a young man with a sower face and an attitude. After paying discovered there was no ice in it, barely any coffee, no cream and it was luke warm at best. For a fiver each that's a bit of a joke...

BE AWARE for Too Good To Go.... Went on the app, at 4:45pm, saw a collection for 5-5:30pm, booked it. I arrived at 5:15 for them to say "I should have got an email & they reserve the right to cancel."If they had more respect for peoples time they should not still be advertising 15minutes prior to collection if they'd planned to cancel because "they had no food."They could have at least packed me something as compensation for making the journey on foot in the rain for nothing.Or at least tried to get in better contact than an email.

we've enjoyed great service on our last two visits, thank you. wish you did more gluten free 'real food' but there a few snack options, so that's something.
