We had an unexpected stopover here, and what a delight! Very friendly and helpful on the telephone to arrange a room for the night. The room was lovely - very spacious and full of little touches (sloe gin!). We had a meal in the restaurant and that was lovely, would definitely recommend to stay here.

Overnight stay , very comfy bed , dinner was lovely, ( Sunday Roast ) thought the cheese and biscuits were very overpriced , for what you got , breakfast was good , plenty of choice , staff were friendly and efficient, good atmosphere

Popped in for lunch and food was fabulous. If you get the chance try the squid with seaweed mayo. Just sublime!

Great pub, restaurant, hotel.
Excellent service, food, atmosphere.
Room was a little loud (right over the restaurant / bar), but that's the only (minor!) complaint.
The Drawing Room, with complimentary whiskey, is a great touch. Dinner and breakfast both excellent.

What a hidden little gem! Stayed one night whilst in the area and what a great choice. Fantastic rooms, great staff and the food was incredible. I?ll certainly be back ??
