A fantastic centuries old pub (with a Royal connection) with original fixtures and flagstone floors, just refurbished.
Superb food, atmosphere and staff........well worth a detour!

Great menu, staff are 99% accurate with orders, food choice is good. Due to the type of pub you do get rough ones.

Very good place to drink beers in Maidenhead. It has a wide beer menu at different prices. The food is good with an extensive menu with a wide variety of burgers, steaks, chicken, curries, pizzas, etc... The pub has several floors and is usually quite busy. I recommend it

Had American Burger with chips. Burger great but very small and chip portion was lacking.

I regularly enjoy the Freedom breakfast after an early morning swim. It great value for money, served quickly and furthermore it?s nice and hot. Highly recommended.

You can always rely on weather spoons for great prices , really good tasking food.
Honestly I?m not your average customer I like high standards. The bear has really gone over my expectations and I was so happy with the food and service. Really friendly staff , smiling and fast service. Food was boiling hot! Definitely one of the best pub brands in the uk.
So many times I would find a nice pub only to get there and they are not serving food.

Great choice of real ales in excellent condition. Very helpful staff with my mobility problems, and the table service (which I don?t normally use) proved to be invaluable.
