The staff are very nice and polite, Almost always has the items I need in stock, Very clean.
Only issue I have seen quite a bit was the chillers being broken, however you can just walk to a corner store 1 minute away for essential items like milk.

Regularly seems understocked and understaffed. Over the last 2 years the chiller units seem to break down all the time. Whens senior management going to sort this store out?

The amount of times the chillers break down is getting beyond ridiculous. Nearly every week, you nip in for some essentials (milk, cheese or butter) and end up having to jump in the car and go to the co-op instead as everything in Tesco has been binned.
A lot of things are marked up far too much compared to the large supermarket. I wonder if it's because of the amount of money they must be losing due to the chillers breaking all of the time.....
The staff are very friendly and helpful which is the only reason for 3 stars.

Depending on the staff's shifts, you either are served by friendly guys who'll cater to your every whim, or staff that seem like serving you is the last thing they'd like to. Nevertheless, the selection of items is good and clubcard prices are helpful.

Tesco Express has everything we need for meals, drinks and snacks. We especially like the meal deals at £12 for a meal for 2 people including a main course, side dish, dessert and a 750 ml drink (wine, beer or soft drink).

I would like to share my thoughts on how wonderful the bubbly chap who works at Tesco?s Express in Furze Platt is. He is always so cheerful and polite. Yesterday evening I went with nothing but £10 cash to find that I had miscalculated and the goods came to £11.05. I said I?d put an item back but he immediately took his phone out and paid the additional £1.05 for me on Apple Pay! His generosity made me so tearful! What a lovely man!

again the freezers are faculty again they blame a power cut. This store has an awful record on freezes not working had a major refit over Christmas this year which as far as I can see did nothing. Did ask about this and was told it was all behind the scene including improving freezers
if they go faulty should there not be a maintains call out alarm
many older people depend on this store
