Excellent service by Specsavers Maidenhead. Easy online booking system. A nice welcome, appointment on time. The optometrist was friendly knowledgeable and explained everything before the sight test. The customer service assistant helped me with choosing new frames and lens. All round great experience.

I had not so great experience with Specs savers, I had given them my old frame to put in new lens and on the date of collection, while refitting, they damaged the frame and as a solution suggested to use a cellotape, this is really not way to deals with things, they blamed the old frame, firstly there was no risk highlighted initially that the frame may break or anything and just tell to tape it up at end, is not done. I had to get brand new frame and glass and ended up shelving £500+, Absolute rip off !!
