I use this Screwfix a lot a just seen the 1 start review from someone that must be a joke or a bad customer. I?ve always been treated with respect and very happy to find what I need. NIMRA Need a pay rise as she know what I want every time I ask or need anything. Thanks NIMRA keep up the good work. ????

I don?t usually write reviews but after reading the last 1 star review I felt I should add my own,
I am a regular in screwfix in Maidenhead, Upto 10 times a week,
I?ve had a trade account for over 10 years and I must say I find the level of service in this branch exceptional,
All staff are kind and helpful,
Particularly Nimra in the trade section, polite, courteous and extremely knowledgeable,
I spend hundreds a week in this store and I send customers here for showers etc,
She is a big reason for me to continue using this branch,
Thankyou for the excellent service,

Be careful with NIMRA
The worst experience in screwfix. I am a regular trade customer in screwfix, but today it is still difficult for me to recover from this experience. Today I went to buy a silicone and an add blue, the site being close to screwfix. I entered the trade and waited for about 2-3 minutes as there was no one to serve (no problem) and an employee entered with a duty manager badge (I did not notice the name). she didn't even say hello. seeing that I have the silicone ready, she asked me if I would order something else and I answered that I would also like an ad blue (and now it starts) she tells me in a superior tone that she has it by the door and I told her that I will take it when I go out.... she tells me that I have to go and I bring it to her to scan it (I repeat in a very nasty tone) thinking that I didn't understand well, I told her that she could say a simple PLEASE and I'm going to bring it because it's not my duty to bring the products. she went to the back to find out I think the product code and came back without a badge. I asked her what her name was because she had a bad attitude. she refused to tell me her name twice, I told her that I saw her badge and that she was a duty manager and that I would file a complaint. she started asking me if I filmed her. I told her no. in the meantime, a boy appeared and told me that he was the duty manager and finally she told me her name NIMRA. I don't know if it's true but being behind her other staff...... . I took my products and left, refusing to get upset anymore. I can't believe that screwfix promotes such people as managers. I would never enter that store again! why wouldn't I go to the toolstation, it's 1 minute away.

Very annoying experience with Screwfix, they do so much right but when it's wrong, it's costly. Bought a new tap here for one of my buy2lets that needed a new one fitting as an emergency due to the old one leaking. purchased this, dropped it off at the flat for the plumber to fit, the emergency plumber's rate was £140 per hour, but fitting a new tap would take well less so i paid it. As soon as he arrived, unboxed the tap, it clearly had parts missing and damage. Someone has returned this to screwfix this way and screwfix resold it without checking the items condition. Getting compensation for this has been a nightmare, all i want is to cover the 2nd hour of labour, yet they're offering me £30. No, you made the mess, you can cover it and train your staff properly.

Huge thank you to the Manager (Alec I think his name is) in helping me return 3 radiators today (19th July). Had a cowboy plumber who ordered the wrong radiators and disappeared and was stuck with 3 incorrect radiators. He helped in getting these returned with ease and was sympathetic to my situation. Also helped me carry new radiators to the car. Great customer service, an asset to the company.
