Nobody knows anything here and the employees keep asking each other for basic info about issues you can find info online by yourself.Whatever your reason to be here, they will not find a solution or way to speed up things: they will just make you waste your time. Don't waste your time coming here as they will tell you to contact their online colleagues. Wonder why Santander keeps this bank open. We tried to open a bank account for a 16 years old trying to get it activated in the same day, as already discussed with their online colleagues who advised us to go to a branch, but it was impossible to get anything done : the person who attended us had no clue on opening bank accounts (she kept saying so) and kept disappearing to ask colleagues who were equally confused. End of the story: everything needs to be done online because here they have no authority or saying (and also little banking knowledge and basic customer skills).

Having seen the negative reviews I wasn't sure what to expect, however the service was excellent last week. A short wait, but then the staff were friendly and polite. Good advice on using an alternative method to transfer funds without cost.

Bank closed before 4pm on Thursday? Two ATM's outside but "not ableto assist with request at this time" from both. Trying to activate a new card which apparently any ATM can do. Disappointing really.

Awful customer service, extremely rude staff whenever I have visited. I would advise using another branch or switching banks altogether.

The came into the store with my mom, I have been banking with Santander for about over 12 years and I must say the staff the service received by branch now is so disappointing. We were served by a lady at the till who didn?t seem to be polite when serving my mother. Her tone of voice was quite condescending.

There are two ATM machines outside Maidenhead branch but MOST of the time both are not working to pay the cheques in. You have got to go there every day, waste your time and try your luck to see when it would work. And always like that for a very very long time now. Contacted them in the past, they said they are looking what?s wrong but never managed to fix it. If you work long hours and can?t get into brach during opening times, then outside machines are of little/no help.
