I chose Opticos for my daughter's because they are independent. I am so glad I did. The optician was very good with my 10 year old. I got the impression they are very genuine as I wanted to buy 2 pairs of glasses and the optician convinced me to only get one! We left very happy. My daughter with her glasses and me with the service. I'm trying to convince my husband to ditch his long term chain opticians and to give Optico a try!

What can I say?Such amazing service...efficient, thorough.and no stone left unturned when explaining everything that is necessary, putting your mind at rest, answering any queries or anxieties you may have.This is my optician from now on !Thank you, Pauline and Harry.

I've been going to Optico for several years now.Initially, the main reason was because I had perfectly good working (expensive) designer Moscot frames & didn't want the added expense of new frames on top of lenses.I also have a reading pair of glasses. I wanted to use these frames aswel because they're Prada frames & still fairly decent, with some wear left in them.I like the added benefit of being able to recycle existing frames that Optico can put new lenses into each time I need a new prescription. They also sell a nice range of designer glasses & sunglasses, which I have in mind for the future.My experience with Optico has always been positive. They're a good team & always friendly, helpful, supportive & very professional. Harry is an excellent optician with extensive knowledge & experience. He is very good at explaining things in detail, about the prescription. Harry's friendly & patient & takes his time. He's always doing his utmost to satisfy his customers.I didn't get my prescription done with Optico, mainly because Specsavers sent me a reminder, which prompted me to book an appointment online via the Specsavers booking portal.Instead of "I should have gone to Specsavers" I definitely realise with hindsight, that "I should have gone to Optico"!Long story but I won't go back to Specsavers again & ensure I get my eye prescription & lenses from Optico each time.The staff are all super friendly & always accommodating.I have absolute faith in Harry, Harpreet & Pauline ??I need some new shades & hope to return to Optico next month to try a couple of pairs on ?I would highly recommend these guys ?Thanks Optico team ?You guys rock ??See you soon.Cat

I recently went in for an eye examination, which resulted in changing my prescription significantly. The service from the optician was professional; he took the time to check all my concerns and he explained everything I asked, as well as the results. He told me at the end of my first visit that he would like me to come in another time, wearing my old contacts, to finish his checks. He said he would not need much time and could slip me in between longer appointments once my glasses were ready for collection. He said they would call me. I didn't get a call, I got a text simply saying glasses were ready, so I called and explained what the optician had said. I was given an appointment time.I turned up at my appointment time and was told that the customer who had the next appointment after me had arrived early and was taken in, and that I would have to wait half an hour to be seen. I want to clarify I was not late - I arrived on time. So I politely go away to wait near the high street. As I'm walking away, I hear the husband of the customer who arrived too early, say in a loud voice that he has the appointment right after his wife's... I didn't hear the rest as I was on my way out of the shop to wait patiently to be called back in.It was one hour and 5 minutes before I was called in. Not only, by now, 1 hour and 15 minutes later than my appointment time, but the person on the phone asked me how long it would take me to get back into the shop!Sure enough, both customers were just finishing and heading off when I walked in. The assistant/sales person did not have the time of day to speak to me at all after this, let alone provide an apology for keeping me waiting for more than an hour for an appointment I was not late for.I was also charged in full, even though I was not seen at my appointment time, and I had been led to believe that this visit was just to complete the examination from my previous visit.Absolutely disgusting behaviour that sends a clear message that my time is worth less than the louder, rudder customer who arrived too early.It's a pity that a competent optician has to lose a customer due to incompetent support staff, but I'm not in the habit of giving money to people who show no respect for me whatsoever.

Had an eye test here and was exceptionally impressed. The test was very thorough - I've never felt so sure that my ocular health has been checked over. COVID protocols were over and above standards, making me feel very safe. All the staff were knowledgeable, and the range of glasses, while premium, provided a good range of options.

Harry is the best. He regularly sees me for an emergency and this weeks he?s away and I?m sitting in windsor eye casualty appreciating all that Harry does for his customers. So I wanted to say thanks!

Excellent service from Harry and the team, and he diagnosed a problem with my eyes which 'other High St opticians' had not. He really takes time to check your eyes, and recommend the best lenses for you, including reusing your previous frames if suitable. (Normally they just want to flog you new ones). Highly recommended.

After having several bad experience with Specsavers and Boots, I was recommended to visit Optico Opticians. The staff were very experienced and very helpful with choosing my set of glasses. Definitely will be coming back!

I broke my reading glasses and rang Optico in the late afternoon to order a replacement. The following day a replacement pair were dropped off at my house by Harri. Amazing service and highly recommended

Excellent service from Optico. Clear advice and transparent pricing. Yes, perhaps I paid more than I might have at Boots or Specsavers but I value the personal service and quality products. I've bought 3 pairs of glasses from them and frankly wouldn't go anywhere else.

Needed an upgrade to my varifocals. When they were ready, we had isolated following government advice so Harry delivered them personally to my home. Needless to say the new prescription was perfect and did the job. Thank you Optico. Good job.
