The closing down of the shopping centre car park and general difficulty parking in Maidenhead Town Centre has unfortunately had an adverse effect on the fortunes of the shopping centre and needs the complete, wholehearted support of the community to ensure its survival and continuity. Please support it!

Ive got to say that Maidenhead should and could do a lot better. Bracknell is much better in terms of shops worth visiting. THERE IS NO CAR PARK HERE which is easily accessible. Little on-street parking also! Maidenhead used to be good. Online shopping and higher rent and rates have taken many shops like Next, Hennes and even Tesco Metro away from the centre. There are no anchor tenants. Post office, Robert Dyas, WH Smith, Poundstretcher, Superdrug etc. I believe that there are plans to demolish and replace this place as part of the ongoing re-generation of Maidenhead. And not a moment too soon!

Good plane to go shopping

It has shops. Some of them are pop-up shops. There is no parking in the town centre, so it's slowly dying. No change recently. Can't wait until is knocked down and replaced. At there should be parking! The only real carpark in town is hines meadow, but one visit will put you off for life! Visas way is a long work from the shops, but it is nice to walk along the York stream.

Horrible and run-down.

Reasonable selection of shops under cover. Toilets clean. Several access points to other shopping areas of the town, but the centre closes about 6pm.No attached parking anymore so not brilliant on wet days.

This is definitely one of the most under rated shopping centres. It has all the strappings of a great shopping Centre on the high street without it's hassles. From post offices to lovely cafes and from pound shops to fancy fashion, it's all available in here.

As someone who grew up in Maidenhead and recently visited after a few years, it was an incredible let down. Vast majority of shops closed down or replaced with pound stores.

I very rarely come into Maidenhead Town Centre but came last week to meet my dad for coffee. The Nicolson's Centre is a real sad sight compared to what it was like 10 or so years ago! Poor footfall and not a busy vibe at all! And what happened to the beautiful Christmas Tree and decorations they used to have? Really poor effort now! Still lots of well known retailers in the Nicholson's Centre which is nice to see, especially with the increase in online shopping. They have some really nice pop up shops for Christmas so it's worth coming into town to go to those. Managed to get a few Christmas gifts from these shops. Robert Dyas is always worth a visit too! Can't believe how many Poundlands have popped up in Maidenhead too!!
