Nice, clean restaurant. Polite, helpful staff. Able to manage gluten free, nut free and vegetarian diets.

Food was disgusting very small portions there were six of us only enough for 3 the place was vertically empty on a Saturday night never go there again and the bill was£215 absolutely disgusting they must have changed hands

Excellent quality food and decent value, especially the banquet. Staff are really nice. This restaurant has been around for years and years and there is a reason for that.....it's very good! Recommended.

We came here as a group of 9. Lady owner (we assumed) seemed very pleasant and attentive but the waiting staff (a young girl dressed in trackies) was not good. I?m not sure if she was nervous or just rude, but she genuinely seemed to not want to serve us and certainly didn?t care whether we were enjoying the food or the experience. The food was hit and miss, among the hits - sweet and sour pork and salt and pepper chicken great, the crispy duck was also very tasty but two tiny plates of cucumber / spring onion and plum sauce looked silly shared between 9 - especially when it was so difficult to get the waiting staff to actually wait on the table. For £40 a head for all you can eat plus 2 bottles of beer each, if you?re big eaters (we weren?t particularly), I could recommend it as good value for money compared to other places I?ve eaten. It would have been a solid 4 stars if the young lady had shown even a modicum of interest or politeness - really lets the place down and clearly it?s not a one-off from what other reviews are saying. Maybe look at some staff training - ?how to exercise your smile? would be a cracking start, I can send over some YouTube links if you need? or I?m sure there are plenty of willing youngsters after a job. If we?re mistaken and track suit girl is in fact the owner, then I resent giving her my money, 1 star. Should never have opened a restaurant.

Firstly the food was lovely that is the only positive I have. 2 of the members of staff are rude. Starting with the one on the phone, who took our booking and then the waitress. All u can eat.. could have gotten alotmore if the service was faster. Didn't get water for about 15 minutes and we had to remind the waiter multiple times for more as the glass was practically a shot glass... We also asked multiple times for things which were forgotten such as a menu, or additional food items. We never got prawn crackers either. It'd help if our waitress smiled and actually checked on us ourselves, rather than us having to grab her attention each time.Also, I understand inflation and that but this has increased £7! With an increase in price I'd expect the service to not decrease.We thanked the waitress at the end and she completely ignored. The bill at the end says "we hope you enjoyed the food as much we enjoyed serving you" which is clearly a lie. obviously she did not enjoy serving us. She looked miserable.

The personnel is quite impolite. Nobody has any consideration for what a customer want to obtain or inquire about.Since we work in the hospitality industry, we can relate to staff members who may be pressed for time and want to finish processing orders quickly. When my companion and I requested for the bill while he was still enjoying his soup, the waitress gave us a funny look and promptly handed it to us, clearly indicating that she didn't want us there.Nobody was hospitable enough. If we had been in the restaurant, we would have placed larger orders. It didn't seem possible that anyone would want to serve us instead of just the group seated around the big table for their birthday celebration.We will never return.

We ate in for a birthday meal (large group of people) the service and food was really good. Never been before. No actual parking which is a downside however you can use the local multi car parks.

I went with with my family to eat and the waitress and waiter were not friendly to us. The food served was underwhelming. Last year there was a good waiter that was very friendly and nice to us but I did not see him there which was sad.
