All OK, except the pre-test instruments for eyes health, the patient forehead & jaw resting parts should be cleaned or wiped by sanitiser after each use, for health and hygiene. They were very sticky, feeling very uncomfortable.

My new pair of glasses from Boots, the left lens is good, right one has a blurred vision from day one.They asked if I can see clear with two eyes, I said yes. Then I was told I should use two eyes to read.They offered I could go back to Boots if I am not happy after one week trying.

I have been treated so poorly by Boots Opticians staff, when I returned six times as my frames were not holding their shape and the staff each time manipulated my frames and made them worst each time. Then my last visit I requested a full refund after being told by Judy the wrong frame has been sold to me yet she refused to refund or help me choose an alternative frame. I made a complaint to head office they came back with we'll give you 25% off a new frame. I must be an idiot to return to them again. This lady thought she was above me and spoke to me as a child. I was never compensated by anyone to reorder my glasses in a frame that fitted. I was turned away, but got my refund this defeats the point of causing me a disabled person suffering from a stroke to be treated in this way. This is the Maidenhead branch. I'm now left with no driving glasses which I paid in full.Absolutely disgusting customer service by Judy and managers.

Not normally one to post bad reviews but the customer service at Boots Opticians in Maidenhead is exceptionally poor. Booked an appt for 9.25 over the phone and got text reminder a few days before. Turned up on the day for them to advise there was no appt for me on the system and that they couldn't see me that day. No apology from the staff member who also seemed to imply it was my error, despite having the confirmation text. I'd travelled all the way from Slough with a 3 month old baby in tow, so needless to say I wasn't very impressed. Contacted Customer Service to raise a complaint. When looking up my details, they told me there was an appointment but for 10.25. I told them that's not what had been agreed when originally booking and not what the text confirmation had said. Store colleague also did not mention this!!! I'd already travelled back to Slough and was not prepared to travel back to Maidenhead. Since then a manager has attempted to call me, but I missed the call due to mum duties! Have attempted to call the store phone back 4/5 times now to speak to manager and not once has the phone been answered. I've also requested to have my details removed from Boots system as no longer wish to use this rubbish service. They've emailed me a lovely lengthy request form to be able to do this and requested my ID which I find a nonsense!! Won't be doing this and will just be binning letters as they come in now. No skin off my nose if Boots want to continue spending money sending me unwanted post! Would give 0 stars if I could. Can see a lot of bad reviews - think it's time for some additional staff training Boots? (That's assuming the staff have had it in the first place!)

Went along today for both a contact lens check and eye test, hadn?t been for around six years, so well overdue. I was there for two hours and found the whole experience a pleasure from start to end. Helpful, knowledgeable staff and every stage of each part of the appointment was carried out in meticulous detail.Incredible discount (50%) on designer frames from joining the Lensmail scheme, which also made the check up and other tests free! Was given two types of lenses to trial for a week before deciding which are best for me and picking up the Gucci?s next week! Great service, no negative experiences here.

Excellent customer service received from Florence this morning at the Maidenhead store. She was very polite and efficient and I ordered my prescription glasses quickly and easily with no fuss. Got 50% off as I am a contact lenses prescriber and was able to spread the cost over 3 months interest free with Klarna. Very happy customer ?

Had an appointment at 11.30. Reached at 11.36 as there was no parking available in the lot, had to go around 3 times. The lady there was seeing another customer and attended to me at 11.41 and tells me I am 1 minute late for 11.40 cut off. She talks to optician who does not respond till 11.50 and says I am too late. These were the same people who made me wait for 30 minutes the last time to see the optician. Avoid them. They have no respect for the customers. Recommend specsavers.

Save your time and don't go here. Went to place an order in Maidenhead today. Chose my glasses. Approached the 2 reception ladies. I was asked for my prescription which I have on email in pdf. They said they can't print it out. I suggested that I email it to them but they said they don't have an email for me to send it to. I offered to show them or read it out but they said that they 'needed' a paper copy for their records. So they were happy to turn down an order for over £350. The worst part was the lack of interest from the 2 ladies. Worst customer service of any opticians I have ever visited.

Worst place ever.Went with my daughter there.Unprofessional, 3 hours spent there with no one else being there.The doctor decided that she needed to take her break in the middle of the consult.The system not working so waited for the same doctor to come back from the brake just to approve something.Unprofessional, lazy, a joke.Never going there again.

Awful experience here this week, I went into the branch at 4.50pm because I had just realised my eye was all blood shot on one side (looks horrendous) and I was worried. Told receptionist who went over to the optician who said something and walked off. The receptionist came back to me and said I needed to go to King Edward hospital. This made me more concerned and I asked are they saying that because this is really serious. The receptionist huffed in my face and said 'I'll ask' and marched off to check with the optician. She came back and said that it's not because it's urgent it's because they can't see me (they close at 5.30pm). I tried to explain I don't need a full check I just wanted some advice but they said they wouldn't see me. So I went to Specsavers who were much busier but still made time to see me and reassured me it's just a burst blood vessel. I'll be moving to them going forward for my eye check ups. Thanks for nothing during a time when I was worried and for being rude to me. Loyal customer no more.

Very poor customer service.Over 2 hours on the phone and no-one picked up. Got through to pharmacy who were very helpful...decided to cancel and find another optician
