The most absurd system some medicines over the counter are next to the prescriptions ones today a very rude woman have ask me to wait 19 minutes in a queue because she didn?t want to pass me a medicine , was at least 6 employees there but she was by herself there , just put two people there specifically if u have such a rude woman trying to do things so slowly, best not to come back

Underhand and rude Bullies. Refuse to take responsibility for contractors. Impossible to resolve. My experience of the service is poor too with off hand and disinterested staff

Tried to get help from staff today. Fella who worked there walked away when I needed help and started working on the til. When I asked for help, was told to go upstairs. Went upstairs, no staff except for pharmacist...who said go downstairs. Go elsewhere.

Been to boots opticians previously, provided my own frame and they sent it away to be fitted with lenses, wasn't an issue.
Came a second time around with a frame and was greeted by staff upon my initial explaining what I wanted, boots staff responded that it would be too expensive, didn't give me the price and said if I send it through them I will be responsible for any damages to my frame and glasses. They then said I had to wait 30 mins to speak to someone.
Poor attitude and moody and felt as though I was bothering them! No attempt to upsell their service, more try and put me off using their services... Disgusting customer service in my opinion. It was an older lady that stated the above.
So you not have Insurance for damages to customer goods?
Anyways, long story short... Took my business to vision express who don't down sell their services, we're very happy to have me and do cover any damages on posting etc... a much better service!
I WILL NOT be purchasing through boots opticians services ever again.

Went for an eye test the staff was lovely and courteous. However, they don't have customer toilets. The opticians took around an hour and a half but there were no toilets for the customers. I have an underlying health condition I was told to go to Marks and Spencers and use the toilets there, which is quite ridiculous. Not happy at all they should have some common sense and have customer toilets specially for those visiting the opticians.

Never enough staff, you go upstairs and then you go back downstairs, so any pharmacy or behind the counter items - you have to wait a long time...

Extremely rude lady in the pharmacy section. Please put up a notice to advise customers that you cannot pay for items there. No need to speak abruptly to customers. All other staff contact was excellent.

Bad experience with a member of staff today. She was visibly annoyed at the fact that I was asking to smell different perfumes, she?d ask ?Which one?? in an annoyed voice, spray it, then run off without asking if there were any others I was interested in smelling, so I had to disturb her 4 times to ask to smell a different perfume, it was so bad I went to find another member of staff to help me but she went ?I?m with someone? and walked off, so on the last time I asked to smell a perfume she even let out a huff with her eyes widened and threw down the things she was doing like she couldn?t believe that I had the audacity.. Absolutely 0 customer service skills, she might?ve been having a bad day but I felt very uncomfortable even though I was really friendly and polite in return and did end up buying a perfume. I had to stand and wait to ask for help with 2 staff members that were gossiping in the first place which was soooo awkward, they didn?t finish their conversation to help me. I think a manager should probably be present on the floor?

This story happened yesterday: I went there and I bought a few items including two tubs of bubblegum. On display it said that the bubblegum costs £2.85. After, I bought the bubblegum and the other items, I checked the receipt and realised that I had been charged £3 per bubblegum tub so they took £0.30 from me. I know 30p isn't that big of a deal but money is money. I then told the cashier about it and then she asked the other cashier and then she asked another person who gave us a refund. Afterwards, we asked if we could speak to the manager but the manager was in a meeting so we couldn't. The only problem with this situation is that it happens to me a lot in many different shops whether it is only 30p or even £2!

I enjoy shopping at Boots in Maidenhead as I like the whole layout of the big store as it is easy to shop whilst using a mobility scooter and finding what I want to buy. I also enjoy shopping there as the staff are very friendly, helpful, and good at their jobs with a speedy service. Boots has always been my favourite chemist for decades.
