Was a catchup with friends. The food was excellent, thoroughly recommend it. We weren't rushed, which was good and very thoughtful of them. We've also heard they do amazing Sunday roasts.....

A lovely, frienly tavern with superb chef cooked food at the best prices in miles, owned by a charming couple, staffed by charming sweet boys and girls- my second home, and I don't even drink!

Fried Chicken Wraps were grim, coffee was undrinkable. Waitress seemed perfectly happy to slop my coffee on the table with half of it in the saucer, along with the sugar and biscuit. I went to move my plate only to discover it was stuck to the table, mmmm classy. On top of all that they had the check to dd a12.5% service charge to the bill. So in conclusion if you are looking for a grubby sports pub this place is for you.

Nice place. Stopped after a pleasant walk and had a pint and a burger. People were friendly and there was a good atmosphere.

Proper old school fashioned pub. Didn't eat, but the food looked good. Staff were friendly, beer was good.

Great food - reasonably priced - hated the loudness of the TV with horse racing on - hate that they take your debit card off you and hold it in case you walk. Found that really strange. Otherwise good experience.
