This post office, inside a WH Smith, is the dog's wotsits. They're open all week, really friendly and helpful and you can have parcels and letters sent there poste restante, which is really helpful if you live on a boat. Today I had an awkward sized parcel to send and the young guy there turned down the end of the huge envelope and taped it down for me while the young woman went and found a thick pen for me to write the address on it.
